I love realizing as I'm pulling into my driveway that I left at 9:50AM and I am just gettin back at 2:33AM. Amazing.

Janelle, I was listening to that mix you gave me when I went away to camp the first time. The one that starts with the trumpet solo. It's really great. Thanks.

It has this song "Summer of '69", which was made popular for me by MxPx. The cover doesn't quite have the same passion as the original. I sang this and really meant it on the way home tonight.

I shoulda known we'd never get far
Oh when I look back now
That summer seemed to last forever
And if I had the choice
Ya - I'd always wanna be there
Those were the best days of my life

EDIT: I was really close to not posting this. It's so strange that you can feel so "on top of the world" one moment and so not the very next. One way or another, that's the way it's supposed to be. And it's still worth letting everyone know that I was on top for one awesome ride home.
SECOND EDIT: The last couple days have been full of difficult conversations with my closest friends. You may think I'm only talking about you, but the sad truth is that I'm not. I've had a bunch and I've got another couple to go. I'm praying that God teaches and grows me through these experiences. I love you all.
