It's the little things that make me smile
People never cease to amaze me... normally with their stupidity or selfishness, in this case though I am in complete awe of my mother's thoughtfulness.
A month or so ago she was researching spas in Portland and came across the Dragon Tea Spa. They were holding a contest where you nominate someone for a day at the spa and explain why they deserve it. Apparently she nominated me and wrote this beautiful peice describing the last year of my life...
I guess my life last year was pretty damn pathetic.
I didn't get the grand prize but they were incredibly touched by what she had to say and I got runner up. So tomorrow I get a free facial, this to be exact, the first one on the list:
