(no subject)
So... my mom is in the hospital. Most of you know she's been having health problems for the past year, but when I was home last week, she was looking so much better and it was really great to see her looking closer to her old self.
Unfortunately, the doctors in my area are pretty fucking worthless. When she first started going to the hospital, one actually asked her what she expected them to do for her because they couldn't find anything wrong. She had been complaining about pain in her left leg for a while and they pretty much blew her off. Now she's in the hospital with a blood clot in the very leg she was complaining about.
I hate doctors. Unless they travel in blue boxes or solve crimes, I hate doctors.
Fortunately, my mom can appreciate my sense of humor at times and totally agreed when I asked "why couldn't this have happened last week? When I was home?!"
This is really the last thing I needed right now and I would like hugs please.
