VICTORY IS MINE
Gotta say, I'm feeling pretty fucking awesome today. Let's start at the beginning shall we?
I've got a bro-crush on tumblr user LetMartyHandleThis. She makes this amazing fanfics out of gifs and I adore them. My favorite, until yesterday, was her SuperWhoMerLock sets, which in case you couldn't figure it out, is a mash-up of Supernatural, Doctor Who, Merlin and Sherlock.
Yesterday, I posted this in her ask box. By the end of the day, she had made this, and I now have at least 15 new tumblr followers *-*
Marty plans on making more. The sound I made was not human, let me tell you this much.
Now, let me tell you about Friday night. After doing a epic amount of homeworking, Sara the Roommate and I went over to Drumlin to get foods. I went to Avenue Deli, the sandwich shop, to get my usual Ham, Bacon and Roast Beef on White with mayo, spinach and onion. The woman on duty looked at me like I was crazy and promptly told me that she couldn't do that because it wasn't on the menu. I replied that I had gotten my sandwich that way before and she again told me, in a rather rude tone of voice that I shouldn't have, because it wasn't on the menu. I told her to forget it then, and walked away.
Be proud of me, I didn't go right to twitter and bitch about it. I waited until the next morning, when I had cooled down slightly. UWW Dining has a twitter account and I sent them a couple of tweets letting them know the basics of the situation; they responded with an email address where I could tell them more. I told them what had happened, adding in that I've seen people get bacon on bread and not be given any grief about it and suggested that a "customize your own sandwich" option be added to the menu. I didn't hear anything back right away, but I didn't expect too as it was a weekend.
This morning I got a reply; basically, my request should have been honored and the issue has been addressed with the team at Avenue Deli.

In other news, I think I'll be wrapping up "In Another's Eyes" in a few chapters or so. Don't worry, people who read this fic, I'm already plotting a sequel and a side story.
Also, I may try to write Avengelock fic for Marty...
