Retail therapy... of a sorts...
This evening I managed to buy myself a new DVD player - a Sony DVP-NS575P... according to the online reviews I've seen of it, it's considered a reliable little machine that will probably play mult-region disc's.
The Only problem I'm having right now is with the sound set up... you can of course imagine the dramas of a nearly-deaf girlie trying to get this to work right... and I seem to be able to get the background noise to work just fine... but the speech volumes are low.
As it is I'm not sure if I'm just having an extremely shitty ear day - or if the machine is fatally flawed.
May have to proffer up prayers to the Great & All Knowing one for a home consultation.... *hopeful look* I'm home sunday afternoon.... *more hopeful look*
