I've been lost in the outernets. At least teh mini sleeps well at night, but she's already been giving up naps for mere "quiet time." I'm exhausted by the non-stop activity and attention she needs, as much as I love it. Then there's the usual drudgery and errands too, along with my computer acting sucky. I think it's pouting because I've been neglecting it. I have good intentions to get mostly caught up somehow on the last week of lj, even if I'm not able to comment much. *huggles f-list*

So we finally had our week of winter, and it's definitely spring now. Close to 80 today, and we'll have warm days all week. Ahhhh. I just wish it could stay like this through the summer.. The house gets too warm, and I'm already starting to dread the sweltering days to come.

As a bonus to the unusually beautiful weather, early daylight saving time, so sweet. Especially since I mostly ignore the time change and don't have to get up in the dark, just enjoy the extra sunshine in the evenings. mmmm! I wasn't gonna bother updating my computer clock, but I guess I got it automatically. A small detail, yet somehow satisfying.

I happened to switch on Ghost Whisperer the other night, only to see L. Scott Caldwell. Her performance elevated the show to almost worth watching, hehe. She's showing up on all the Other networks now, an ER nurse and now this. Where's our Rose? I think there's more to her story and I hope we'll see her back on Lost this season.

Xerxes is hot. I'm just sayin'. lol

I was going from being tortured by the acupuncurist to buy underwear for girls in Kenya, when I heard an NPR segment about the changing television experience, focusing on interactivity. There was a pretty good bit about Heroes, and comments from an exec who was mostly pimping nbc.com.. she didn't get into the other rpg sites that are out there now for Heroes. It was npr news, so yeah kinda flat, but it made me happy. Maybe not ridiculously happy like Masi Oka popping up as a clerk on Sarah Silverman, but still happy.

It's so long to wait until April 23 for a new ep! What the heck was I thinking when I cleared all those episodes off my tivo? *facepalm* Monday without Heroes, bah. No Prison Break either.. at least there's a House tonight, and of course 24. I only watched the first Black Donnellys yesterday, so I think I'll record that and watch The Riches. Gotta have my dark and twisty dramas, oh yeah.

I'm looking forward to Lost Weekend, although it'll be so difficult being away from my little one. Sometimes when I see "LW" on my friends page my brain thinks Lake Wildwood, where I live. And increasing my dorkiness quotient even further, I tivoed an old movie simply because it's called "The Lost Weekend." It's an oscar-winner from 1945, about an alcoholic writer. Maybe I'll get a chance to watch it sometime before Lost Weekend 2. Or not. heh

So glad we have the new one- James old truck is kaput. Well, we don't know for sure yet if it's something worth fixing, but we'll probably have to give it to charity. It was his grandpa's so he's a little sentimental, but the toyota helps a lot to ease his mourning the loss of the gmc.. even if I've been stealing it most days. I want a new family car too, but we really should put the tax refund toward the giant debt monster instead. Oh and our association dues are coming up. sigh.

I'll sneak more online time if RL stops being such a vincent. If this entry has been compromised by hostiles, enter 77.
