LOST, fruitcake, and more
If it's true that there's actually only one fruitcake, which simply is passed on endlessly from person to person, then fear not... for we've eradicated this holiday scourge from the face of the earth. Yes, we got the a fruitcake. And, shocking as it seems, we actually ate it.
Fortunately, it was a yummy Harry & David pineapple macadamia nut cake--with no bits of neon colored, synthetic-like "fruit" to be found--so in fact this gift was more than forgiveable. Better yet, it arrived along with their delectable chocolate truffles, making it simply by association teh best fruitcake evah. Oh yes. I heart fruitcake. *teehee*
I tried a chestnut for the first time. Why yes, it was roasted over an open fire. Not as great as it sounds, but holding the hot nuts is nice for warming up cold hands. Ohh that sounded dirty. *giggle* Yes indeedy, holding warm nuts is a joyful and festive tradition. sorry. :l

I thought Foxy was sweet and funny on Letterman last week. He's such a likeable guy, and it's great when we get to see that side of Jack too. There's much more to Jack than the emo-angst. I think Jack putting Ben's life on the line is a good send off for the rest of the season. Juliet's still a wild card, and Jack could go any direction too. Anyway, I think I'll wait for dvd on "We Are Marshall," but I wonder, can a movie about a tragedy be fun and sexy too? Hmm.. Matthew squared... multiply by football... according to my preliminary calculations, the answer is yesss. Reviews welcome if anyone sees it.
I rented "Behind The Sun" with Rodrigo Santoro. I tend to enjoy unusual foreign films anyway, but I liked it, and not just because he is teh pretty... oh yes much pretty in this one. He can also act, so hopefully we'll get to see that on Lost too, lol. His character was very subdued despite dramatic circumstances, not overdone at all, and completely different from Paulo. So I hope we'll get a lot more out of Paulo and his flashbacks and development will be more satisfying. We just don't know enough yet about where the character is going, so I'm giving him a chance. Besides, that commercial he's in with Nicole Kidman... omgwtfsexy! It really makes me want to go put on some Chanel no. 5, oh yeah, lololol.
Yay! LOST magazine in the mail today. I think it's my last issue unless I renew.
ION, the living room painting is nearly done, thanks to the help of my sister and mom who are the bestest. I got my accent color today, the question is how to do it with teh mini helping. :\ Ah well, I won't get to it until after Christmas anyway. There are so many things to do... like maybe try to catch up here? I've been so MIA lately. 'dangoes to all. xoxo
