2005 year in review (don't know how to LJ cut. Sorry it's so long)
January
Track was kicking my ass. One of the meets was canceled due to the snow. I was miserable being forced to go to study table. I had a really shitty week for some reason or another. Wrote a poem about my dad, God rest his soul. Had roommate troubles for a bit. And that's about all.
February
I was properly introduced to Stephen Lynch's comedy by seeing him live with Jay and Xhafer. Went to Grand Valley State University to run indoors and hated it. I discovered The Llama Song. MAC weekend and Central becoming Indoor MAC Champions for the first time in our house. I created a quiz on quizfarm.com about Which Wheeler 507 Roommate Are You? I goofed and made five choices instead of four which ended with some fun results.
March
Had a severe case of the flu, making me miss my mid-terms. Got them rescheduled though. Got fitted for a tux for Ben's wedding. Spring Break. Tried to go see Authority Zero with Mark and Xhafer but couldn't get in because of Hot Hot Heat. That solidified my hatred of emo music and emo kids. SLIPKNOT CONCERT! Began courting a young lady who then in time turned me down and now regrets it. And finally, I discovered the Pearl Rythmn Traveler drumset that I wanted to buy. Not so much anymore.
April
Saw Dane Cook at Central. Drove out to Grand Rapids to catch Less Than Jake at The Orbit Room. Kick ass show! 7th row baby! School as winding down quickly. Had a serious epiphany/revelation.
May
My first year of college ended. The Sterling Invite. Getting the stadium named after Coach Arft. My 19th birthday and Mother's Day, which was spent in Mt. Pleasant for a track banquet. Finally got a job at a restaurant called O'Charley's.
June
Being introduced to the lovely game of golf by the guys. Bon fire at Andy's. Powerman 5000 concert with the guys. Cedar Point and getting on the Top Thrill Dragster. ECW's "One Night Stand." Solidified friendships with some people.
July
I only posted once and it was a quiz about myself. And I don't remember July at all.
August
Went and saw Neil Diamond with my mom and sister. Moved up to Mt. Pleasant early to find a job. I go back to the dining commons. I ended up getting Laringitis Tonsilitis. Saw Xhafer on his birthday, same day he took me to the hospital. Saw Andy when he was coming home from up north. Bought books and went broke. Went and saw Dane Cook with Shawn and Marlene.
September
School started and was going decent. Lots of drinking at tailgating, with my brother, and with Kyle. A couple of hook ups. Being robbed! Getting a date for Ben's wedding.
October
The bachelor party. Going to see "Just Like Heaven" with a special friend. Getting shitty on my brothers 22nd birthday. I got drunk in Mt. Pleasant and woke up in Bay City. Nice. Ben's wedding. Rocky Horror Picture Show with Xhafer again. It is now a yearly tradition. School sucks and I began to fail both of my science UP's.
November
Quitting track for either just this season or for the rest of my career. Eddie Guerrerro passed away. School sucking majorly. Seeing a tutor. Thanksgiving break. Going to WWE's Survivor Series, my first PPV ever, with my best friend Mike.
December
Finals. Getting the hell out of Mt. Pleasant for a month. Being done with the shittiest classes ever. Working back at the restaurant. Looking to get trashed. Poker night with the guys. Christmas and New Year's.
