Today is Go's birthday. I really wish I could be there to celebrate it with him.

Here is the cake I made to celebrate his birthday.....and those who got to eat it.....
By the way, it's a Tiramisu Gateau---which I seem to make quite often lately.
In the process of perfecting it...this time I'm super pleased because the chiffon sponge is the best I've ever made--so light and soft :) I added more coffee to the cream for stronger coffee scent and taste--wonderful. Raspberries are good with it, too. Next time I may add a thin coating of rapsberry puree on one of the layer or some fresh raspberries cos they go together so well. The tartness of the raspberries goes well with the richness of the coffee-mascapone cream.
Such a shame Go didn't have a chance to taste it... :(
