Why bring this concern our Domus? The weasel never did answer the question. Exactly what happens if we do exorcise or destroy the power that resides in this fearsome arborreal menace? Obviously there is an angle here that we're not privy to. If I stuff this thing in a blessed woodchipper it is just as likely the whole family will just spontaneously combust as any other outcome.
Still, the possibility that a demon dwelling within this thing has twisted the minds of Malcolm and his brothers to bring about such miserable blasphemies can not be ignored. Nor can the risk that it could subject the rest of the house to such madness should they draw to close to it.
The Damned are creatures of lies. We make them our very essence. We embrace the lies that define our Requiem. When we wake from the Sleep of Ages and attempt to relearn and remember, we pick and choose among new lies and the old.
Yet when another chooses our lies for us, they define our reality of shadows and Damnation. We are merely puppets waiting to have our strings pulled. We who are violated have little to fear from further defilement ...
But the wonderful thing about damaged goods are that we are expendable.
