just so you know...
Thought I'd let all you fans out there know that I am, in fact, still alive. I've just been ridiculously busy for the past few weeks, so...here's a recap.
- graduated on May 24th (woo!) and thus am officially no longer a high school student. I'm so happy...
- immediately left for Alaska with the fam, and survived that (woo! again). It was actually kind of fun. I'd never seen a wolf outside of a zoo before.
- the day after we returned from Alaska, I left for piano camp at UGA and was there until yesterday evening. Basically, while there I practiced piano. Well, and slept occasionally, but not very much. It was exhausting, but I learned a lot and am glad I went. Roomed with Kaitlin there, and it was wonderful seeing her be who she is, instead of who her parents think she should be.
- the day after I returned from camp (aka today), I was at work at 9:00 AM.
That's all of the major stuff, give or take a few hot dates. Here's what the rest of the month is looking like so far.
- tomorrow, after church, Mom and I are setting up our Vacation Bible School classroom.
- Monday through Friday of next week, I'll be teaching the usual savage horde of second-graders about Jesus. Ick. As soon as I leave VBS every day, I'll be going straight to work until sometime in the evening. So another busy week.
- starting the week after that, I'm working pretty much full time (10 to 6) every day except Saturdays, when I'll be working 9 to 2. Looks like I'll be keeping up that schedule for the rest of the summer, so I'll be busy but rich.^^
- at some point, I'll be going to Hilton Head with my sister, which will rock.
You may have noticed that I don't mention anything about a social life in there. That's because I basically won't have much of one, but hey... whatevs. I'll fit it in. I always do. Call if you want to hang out and we'll schedule something.
