Luna Sea Concert - Hollywood Palladium 12/4/2010 (and a ryuichi sighting)

Dec 06, 2010 00:31

So. Luna Sea - only the greatest JRock band EVER, at least in my book. This was the first japanese band i loved - I found out about them when I was 14 and, together with V, we obsessed over them, and the Shine album, endlessly. We even managed to sneak the Shine album into the school PA system so everyone had to listen to the album while we were ( Read more... )

hahahaha. yeah at first i was thinking about moving over to sugizo's side, but i was torn between sugi and ino + J, so i gave up and stood int he center again... LOLOLOL

we kinda hung around a bunch of slightly tipsy asian girls - they managed to clear the way slightly for us LOLOL

halfway through the show i kinda wished iw as standing at ino/J's corner T_T

haha i was pretty happy with the setlist - a much longer, tokyo-dome length concert will of course be awesome but in general i was okay with it =) I actually liked In My Dream, because I think luna sea doesn't play enough happy songs =) i like the somewhat dance-y drum beat to the song.

I really missed IN SILENCE though!!! Fate was awesome. And time is dead. OMG if they played G that would make my day =D =D =D There's actually a bunch of songs i would've added to the list too, but being that it's been SO LONG since i've looked at the titles (i can never remember titles; this is so embarrassing), can't really list anything *sheepish grin*

Oh, oh, just rememebred. The song i really want to hear is RAIN. It's rarely played but i LOVE it =) hahahaha. Kinda proud i rememebred the title... XD

I must say though, i really like Ryu's new vocal style - i wasn't very happy with the nasal-ness in the last album before the hiatus, but i'm glad he found this middle ground between the old and new voices he had. I like his current voice =) =) =)
