The DBSK Concert Report
Okay, here's the concert report proper, since it promises to be LONG.:
p.s. jsut a side note. the dbsk madness had spread to ningz by this time that she ended up dreaming about me and her at a cafe stalking yunho.
Ningz: and then the waiter said 'U-KNOW' is coming. (nb. yunho's other name is u-know)
Me: oh god. you're getting the dreams too?!!!!

When i reached, it was almost surreal. I was here. I made it. I was going to see them in an hour. And omg so many people. O_o
Imagine 10 women talking at the same time to different people on their cellphones. Multiply that by....5000, and add excited squeeing and you get a rather huge Din. O_o But it was all surprisingly organized, and I got to my seat pretty quick. Also got my camera confiscated for the concert. Bummer. =_= They were really strict, probably because mine was the last day, and was probably going to be filmed for the dvd.
Once in, i was handed a random bag with DBSK on it, and a DBSK pamphlet thingy. And a card. I was kinda stunned by then, following the crowd but not quite knowing what was happening. All I knew was that I was in the Tokyo Dome. Finally. And though this time round, i'm there on a 3mth old crush on a bunch of korean men, this is really a culmination of a very old dream - to go to Japan to see Glay/Luna Sea/L'arc En Ciel at the Tokyo Dome. I'd dreamt about that ten years ago. But I never got a chance, and in the end, Luna Sea broke up and I never saw them. So to be able to come here, on my own, with no family disapprovals/budget concerns etc, and finally see a band I like at the Tokyo Dome, really means alot more than just a passing crush. I'd done it. and I was pretty much high just on that alone.
I started spazzing more when i was trying to find my seat. From the seat chart, I'd known i'd be pretty much 15 rows away from the last arena/mosh pit area. So i'd be near enough to see 10cm tall boys, but not near enough for their pores. I was pretty much resigned to that, hence the binoculars.
Squeezed in btw two fangirls. Sat down like the tall, weird gaijin I was, and started staring at the sheer number of people (all 50,000 of them). Tokyo Dome was HUGE. I was kinda bummed I couldn't get a lightstick, but I figured that I will wave my towel. This was how far the main stage was, and the extended platform thingies.
Then i turned to the girl on my left and, in my pidgin japanese, started talking to her. Somehow we managed to spazz about changmin and yunho and the ultra smexiness that is dbsk. And somehow i figured that she had come here on her first concert. Yesterday was her first, and today was her second round. And that she LOVES changmin. And she will cry so will i please forgive her in advance. She also told me how their solos will be. Then she dropped the bomb on me, and told me how they will take these cart things and go round this lil' platform separating the mosh pit from the raised seats (i.e. my area); and then go to this lil' stage at the back (i.e. 15 meters from me) and sing stand by u. At that point, my eyes boggled out and i managed a strangled 'hontou....?!!!!!!' O_O I think at that point my mind just blew. I mean, i knew i had an okay seat. I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS THAT GOOD. See above pic. Note that green pathway. I was like. 15 rows from that. The carts were gonna pass through that.

Then OMG the concert started. The lights went out. We started screaming like nutcases. I noticed that there were these free lightstick thingies stuck to chairs, and she told me that we were supposed to break them when Stand By U started. My chair didn't have one so I stole one from the neighbouring chair that was empty at that time ^^V (that fan turned up later, but too late for her XD) I remember at that time thinking, wow, the Avex people were rich, to provide fans lightsticks...I was really wrong though, because the fanclub had provided them and it was going to be a surprise for the boys O_O
So. Yeah. I can't really remember the song titles, or every single performance, cos most of the time i had my binoculars trained on yunho or changmin, with one eye on the screen. At the same time, I would be screaming during intervals, or singing the song. I was soooo happy and so high, my hands were shaking. I pretty much sucked at the binoculars cos they were shaking so hard. O_O
Some random points i remembered:
- yunho's japanese checkmate solo is so hot it blows your mind. That dance. And i swear he was groping the girl. O_O And he sang it live. Good voice. The funny thing was when he was groping said girl, all across the dome fans were screaming things like (loosely translated from japanese) "NOO YUNHO!!!" and "WHYYY YUNHO?!!!" and "YUNHO YOU IDIOTTTT" *dies laughing* talk about breaking fan's hearts. Me though. He just stole it. That was too hot. O_O Before this solo, the fan on my right, a yoosu fan told me calmly that yunho was coming out. She's so nice. <3
- junsu's xiahtic solo also had a cool dance number, and lots of grinding with one of the female dancers. I don't know why the fans didn't scream bloody murder when he did that though O_O And the camera kept going to his groin. I was rather amused by that.
- changmin's solo. OMG WOW. He sang Wild Soul. A very loud rock number with a crazy vocal range, that only changmin could do. He just kept raising the notes. O_O And at one point he had this laser gun thing that he pointed around the stage. The expression on his face was a rather smug boyish grin, and that sent all the fangirls into oblivion. Super hot. The fan next to me started screaming supersonic 'CHANGMINNNNNN~!' things at regular intervals. O_O Changmin, being the vocal powerhouse he was, nearly blew out the speakers at the high notes. He was that loud. And then at the climax, they had mini fireworks too. So by the end of the song I think I was partially deaf. But a very happy partially deaf fan ^^V
- duet btw yoochun and jaejoong was very beautiful. I love the harmony btw the two. Kinda slashy too, that performance O_O
- solos made me sooo happy because in jp concerts they've never done solos. This is the first time. And i was happy to see them showing the japanese just how sexy they are with the dancing. *sighs happily*
- the opening clip had them trying to steal a diamond necklace. That was kinda cool yet funny. Yunho + yoochun + changmin had cool fight moves. Junsu ended up being the idiot stealing the necklace, so that sent me into a giggling fit for some reason =)
- one clip had them being ditched by girls. Again so corny i had to laugh. Junsu's ditching was more like 'it's okay girl, i know you're not good enough for me *patpat*' And yunho had the corny 'i love you, here's a ticket to new caledonia' deal. I think new caledonia to koreans means the heart, because of that heart-shaped island thing.
- another clip before Force had them wielding balls of light. Everyone had colored balls of light except changmin who had some disk thingy, and yunho had this big ass blue flaming sword. I had to giggle there, cos leader-sshi sooo cool.
- 9095 pole dance was <3. YUnho is damn hot there. I had eyes only for him. Relying on the dvd to show me the rest. =) Each member was in front of a screen violating the mike stand, and the screen was showing the backview, serving like a mirror of sorts. So you could see the front, and the butts etc. *_* Hot. I don't like the song, but the pole dance is serious <3
- mirotic perf very cool because they had a double of themselves dancing on screen, and thye interacted witht eh screen doppleganger during the dance. That was how they changed costumes in the middle of the song, which was way cool. I was the nut singing the song in korean cos i don't know the japanese lyrics.. *sheepish grin* IT was also the performance remix, so at the end of the song, i was half expecting them to strip like in gayo daejun, but dammit they didn't >.<
- jaejoong's hair was very golden, very fluffy, and very nice. Everytime his hair flopped, and he smiled, the audience just screamed and screamed. Too beautiful.
- everyone's voices were excellent, and it was just amazing hearing it live for yourself, instead of through dvds. Japanese fans are good in the sense that they go batshit crazy during intervals, but there's no screaming when they are singing. So you get to really hear the music. The fans just kinda sing along. I know i was XD
- the Ment part was really funny. Changmin did most of the talking. I missed half the stuff he said cos i was busy training the binoculars on him. But he's very adorable. And snarky. And funny. I think there was this bit where he was not paying attention, and then yoochun somehow arrowed him to do the Otsukareyama (mountain of fatigue) gag as a one year old. Changmin snarked back that one-year-olds don't talk and gave yoochun a super annoyed look. Then he did it, and after that gave yoochun this killer glare. Which had the fans screaming 'CHANGMIN! KAWAIIIIII ~~~<3' lolol. Changmin could be the rudest ass in the venue and the fans would still love him. he was that hot. I think at another pt jae did his usual shoyu koto gag, and changmin got pissed that jae had it off easy. LOLOL. Too cute.
- yunho likes to play with that travelator thing on the extended platform. At one point he did this super cute ape dance on it. And changmin lay down on the platform at one point. And the audience screamed. Same happened when yunho did it. O_O
- colorful costumes were not that gay, i actually think they wore them pretty well.
- more homin than yunjae.....and that might be due to me training my binoculars on both of them everytime XD
- when they started singing we are, and getting on the carts, i went batshit crazy. Yunho and jae went on the opposite side from where they usually stand, so I remember pulling out my hair and going WHYYYYYYY because i thought they won't come over. I got junsu/yoochun/changmin first. And may i say changmin up close is DAMN FINE. When he smiles..*falls over* Junsu's skin is very pretty. And yoochun's chunfaces are <3. They were throwing out these ball things with their autograph on it. I remember jumping up and down and screaming and waving to changmin to throw one over. It went something like 'CHANGMIN CHANGMIN KOCHI KOCHI KOCHIIIIII' hahahaha. The twerp ignored me dammit. hahahahaha. They then got off the carts and went to the stand by u mini stage. There was a ment, and I could see them. Like WOW hot. i dunno what they were saying cos i was just staring at them. And my brain was gone at that point.
- when stand by u started, we all broke the light sticks, and the boys were relaly touched. Yunho had this appreciative 'in awe' look on his face, and that was really sweet. The whole concert venue was gorgeous! Everything changed from red to blue in 5 seconds. O_o The song was GORGEOUS live. Seriously. I really love that song. 8sigh* I had my eyes trained on them. Pity they were facing the stage most of the time, so i saw the butts. But still. Damn hot butts. ^^V
- after stand by u, they left the stage on carts. This time yunjae came over and I breathed a huge sigh of relief. Started the screaming thing all over again. And when yunho did this sweet smile and wave thing. I think i just got stunned into silence. Too cute. And hot. *sigh*. Jae is also very pretty close up when he smiles O_O
- they did bolero, and i thought that was a finale. Too beautiful. The audience was SILENT. EVeryone was listening in awe to the beauty of the voices. Changmin teared a little, and yunho looked really touched.
- after bolero, i thought it was over cos that was how it was for all the other Secret Code concerts. However, it turned out, after 5 min of screaming tohoshinki, they came out again. To do love in the ice. *dies*. I LOVE THAT SONG> too beautiful. The changmin fan next to me cried. O_O I wasn't that far off. lolol
After the concert ended. took a pic with Mami, the japanese fan:
Exchanged our emails. Then we all left. The fans are nice in that they politely wish you good night after that. Even the other one next to me whom i didn't really know. Very nice.
Getting out was a nightmare, cos it was worse than singapore sale or something. Cannot move, cannot breathe. O_O Finally wiggled my way out to buy more concert goods. I grabbed more shiny photos of changmin because changmin has moved up the ranks (too hot), and then on my way out i spotted the piano scores and grabbed them too <3
Saw this in the hotel on the way out. Talk about die hard fans. Note the TVXQ (that's the official acronym for DBSK).
Went home on painful legs. This is me holding the Fan Towel and Blue LIghtstick that isn't blue anymore.

Ningz and I spent really long poring over the notes. We have decided that each member wrote one line of each msg. That was after analyzing their writing. LOL. We were that free, yes. =)
