Play around in GIMP. I was toying around with one of the pictures I took from my Sunday walk a couple of weekends ago. This is the result.

I'm still fuzzy on text effects, like how to bold or italicize and changing text color. I'm sure by tomorrow I will have forgotten most of the steps I took to get today's results. And I'm not sure if I like how the text came out. :S It needs to be brighter or bolder or something. So I'm looking for really basic text tutorials for gimp and by basic, I mean total noobie beginner tutorials. :)
