Yesterday, I went for a run and it wasn't until I was outside that I saw the black storm clouds off in the distance. Ok, I thought, chances are I'll make it back before it starts raining. On the last mile, I caught sight of the rain not less than a mile off in the distance and I knew I wasn't going to make it without getting rained on. Sure enough, the rain came down and hail too! Little tiny bits of hail but they hurt. Many thanks to the kind soul who drove by and slowed down to offer me a ride but my stubborness to finish my run won out. I was drenched by the time I got back. I jumped into a hot shower to get warm again.
Since the weather has been nice lately (aside from yesterday!) I have also been riding my bike to do small errands. Last Saturday I put on 18 miles and today 6 miles. It has the advantageous benifit of not only keeping me fit, but also saves on gas and money. \o/
