Five hours sleep, then up and at it. Did a bit of furniture moving before the installer arrived. He saw the marks on the floor and tested a few places. Then he excused himself while he made a phone call.
The padding is defective and will need to be completely replaced.
*head desk*
All of the furniture has to come out. Again. It was kind of fun the first time because the carpet was brand new. Not so much fun the second time around.
Next Wednesday is the big day.
