this and that
Have been watching the Fraud situation and the possible connection with Wolf here and here with bated breath. So far nothing weird has shown up on my cc. :S
On my way to a meeting this morning with one of the couples I'm playing a wedding for in June, I saw a dead kitty in the middle of a very busy road. Almost didn't see it in time! That was someone's pet and friend that died this morning. :(
Almost finished with the Choir Gig for the year. School is out next week. Unfortunately, I can't play the one song they are performing at graduation because I also have a Wednesday evening church service to play for. The two events are 30 miles and 30 minutes apart from each other.
I had to close my bathroom to students yesterday because for the past 3 weeks, one of them has clogged up the toilet. It is an old toilet and you can't use too much TP. Well between the waste (of the solid kind) and the TP, I have had a yucky mess to deal with for the past 3 weeks. I'm pretty sure I know which kid is doing it and I really don't think he's doing it intentionally, but still - ewwww.
Yesterday, when he and his sister came for their lessons (their brother also comes for lessons but he was sick yesterday), the little boy had to use the bathroom and I asked him if he could hold it because I've been having a problem with my toilet - it's not working today. He went back outside to wait in their car for his lesson. When he came back inside, he said his mom said he only needed to play through his recital music and then he had to go home because he had to go to the bathroom.
Well, I felt a little bad about that, but also relieved because I wouldn't have another mess to clean up.
I'm going to have to call the mom and ask her to make sure the kids use the bathroom before they come to my house from now on.
