Summary: When Yamapi and Katrina had a problem for the first time, what would their best friends do to help out?
A/N: Yay! I’ve done a PiTrina spinoff. Hope you like it!
Every relationship has its share of ups and downs. To some, it’s more often than others. To site and example, we can compare the relationships of best friends, Tatsuya and Katrina.
Ryo and Tatsuya are two people who have strong personalities. Where Ryo is impatient, Tatsuya is moody. And when they clash, it’s like another world war broke out. But both can be sickeningly sweet most of the times. Their relationship is always in the extremes. They would either be like newlyweds or mortal enemies. But the good thing about these two is that they could not get enough of each other. So whenever they would have any disagreements, it would only take a few hours to a day before it’s resolved. The times when Ryo has to work in Osaka are the most torturous for the two of them-well, not excluding their sex life.
Yamapi and Katrina, on the other hand, is a totally different story. Both are so dedicated to their careers, Yamapi with his group and dramas and Katrina managing her two hotels, that they could get by with just a phone call and tons of messages every day. It only goes to say that the number of arguments they have would pale in comparison to RyoDa’s. They do see each other whenever Yamapi has a day off and since, Katrina’s schedule is more flexible, she’s the one adjusting to Yamapi’s.
How would both pairs fare when suddenly the idols were given a week-long break?
“Ryo, let’s have a vacation in Maldives on our break,” Tatsuya suggested one night. They were lying on the bed ready to sleep.
“Hime, it’s a waste of money,” Ryo reasoned.
“You mean, spending time with me is a waste of money?!” Tatsuya said with a pout.
“That’s not what I mean. What I mean is that, why do we have to go overseas when we’ll just lock ourselves in a room and fuck each other’s brains out?” Ryo said.
Tatsuya smacked the younger one on the head.
“Is that all you think about? It’s so rare that we have this much vacation at the same time and you want to see only the four corners of our room?”
“Let me contest that statement. First, that much vacation is so rare and we’ll be so busy again after that so we have to make the most of it. Second, it’s not just the four corners of this room. We can do it in the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom, the music room, or on the hallway,” Ryo said while imagining what he would do to his boyfriend in those places.
“You are such a pervert! Are you planning on not letting me walk for a month after that vacation?! I am not talking to you! Let’s have a separate vacation then!”
Ryo hugged his boyfriend and gave him a kiss on the temple. “I’m sorry, hime. I just want to spend time with you. It doesn’t matter where we are as long as it’s just the two of us but I don’t want to waste this vacation on a plane or on the road. How about we make a compromise, we can go somewhere closer preferably within the country, so that we can have the vacation you want,” Ryo suggested.
“That’s fine with me. I’ll call Kat tomorrow to ask for suggestions. Thank you, Ryo,” he said while hugging him back.
“Anything for you, baby,” came the response from the younger man before he turn off the lights.
Ring Ring
“Moshi moshi~”
“Hi sweetheart!”
“Hi Tomo,” answered Katrina. “Are you home, yet?”
“Yup, I got in a few minutes ago. I just want to hear your voice before I sleep. Are you sleeping already?”
“Nope. I just finished checking some reports.”
“You’re still in the office?”
“Home already. I brought them with me. I’m taking a day off tomorrow. I haven’t had one for a couple of weeks already. It’s been really busy what with the expansion of the Osaka branch.”
“Don’t stress yourself out too much. It’s good to know you’re taking a breather tomorrow. Speaking of break, I’ll have a one week vacation starting next week. I just want to check if you can make that week open,” Yamapi asked.
“Really?! That’s great! Sure, I can do that! Do you have plans already?”
“Not really. All I know is I want to spend it with you.”
“You’re sweet. What about we go to Okinawa? I miss the ocean,” Katrina recommended.
“That’s a great idea. Can I come over tomorrow for dinner? I miss your cooking.”
“Just my cooking?”
“Of course I miss you too.”
“Ok. You can come over whenever. You can even stay the night if you want,” she offered.
“I would definitely take you up on that. But for now, take a rest. I’ll just see you tomorrow.”
“Sure thing. Love you, honey! Bye!”
“I love you too, sweetheart. Bye!” Yamapi said before hanging up.
The following day, two best friends are out for coffee.
“Ne, Tatsu, how does it feel like being with Ryo for a year?” Katrina inquired.
Tatsuya smiled dreamily. “I’ve never been happier. And I could never thank you enough for helping us get together,” he replied.
“You’re getting a week’s vacation, right?”
“Un. Actually that’s the reason I asked you out. I would like to ask for your suggestions since you’re more familiar with hotels and resorts. Are you and Pi going for a trip as well?”
“We haven’t made plans yet so he’s coming over tonight to discuss it with me. What about the two of you? Are you staying within the country or overseas? You said you’ve always wanted to visit Maldives with your boyfriend, right?”
Tatsuya pouted. “I have to settle with staying within the country. Ryo’s itinerary only has one destination and that’s the bedroom. It’d be a waste if we go to another country and we wouldn’t be able to go out...”
“Because you can’t walk,” Katrina interrupted with a laugh. “Ah, I got an idea! I told Tomo that I want to go to Okinawa. I haven’t visited my vacation home in a while. You and Ryo can stay on the guest house. You won’t have to worry about paparazzi because it has a private beach already. What do you think?”
“Eh?! When did you buy it?”
“Dad gave it to me when I graduated. It’s just a small property. The main house has three bedrooms and two baths while the guest house is just a studio unit. I’m sure you’ll like it there.”
“That’s nice. I’ll tell Ryo about it tonight,” Tatsuya said.
They were chatting on what possible activities they can do when Tatsuya’s phone rang. It was Ryo asking if they can have lunch together. So the two of them bid goodbye to each other and promised to get in touch as soon as their boyfriends agreed with their suggestions. And it turned out the two men like the idea as well.
A week has passed and they welcomed the long vacation.
They arrived early in the afternoon after spending the better part of the morning in the supermarket to stock the kitchen and refrigerator. Then they had lunch outside before going home. Katrina ordered her caretaker to have the house ready and drop the car at the airport. Yamapi was the designated driver.
As soon as they got in, Ryo and Tatsuya locked themselves inside the room.
“I’m so glad the walls are thick and that we are staying at different ends of the house,” Katrina commented.
Yamapi laughed and hugged Katrina from the back. “Does that mean I can make you scream my name?” he teased.
Katrina blushed. They have been together for almost a year but she’s still shy around Yamapi and besides, they don’t get to be together often. Her relationship with Yamapi is so different with her and Tatsuya’s so she never even thought of comparing the two. Yamapi made her feel like she’d never felt with Tatsuya before. Yamapi is an intense and passionate lover and they synch perfectly together. And she could never deny that she has fallen in love with this man so deep there’s no way out.
“I’d like to see you try,” she said trying to match his teasing tone. “But before that, let’s arrange the groceries since the two of them won’t be going out for a while.”
“I think I’ve gotten used to them making out and disappearing since I work with Ryo. It makes me miss you more though. That’s why sometimes I don’t like hanging out with them,” Yamapi said while they were putting away the groceries.
As soon as the groceries have been put away, Yamapi sneaked behind Katrina and picked her up which earned a yelp from the young lady.
“What the?! Tomo, put me down!”
“No way! Ryo and Tat-chan have been getting themselves busy while we’re being responsible adults. So, why don’t we play for a bit, ne? We still have a few hours before we go out for dinner,” he said as he walk towards the bedroom.
It was around 7 in the evening when the two couples went out of their respective rooms to go out for dinner. They had dinner in an Italian restaurant before going out for a drink.
“Can’t the two of you stop eating each other out?” Katrina said to Ryo and Tatsuya. They are in a private lounge of a club. They have been drinking for a few hours already but Yamapi went and still get them drinks.
“Don’t worry you can do it with Pi later. We won’t bother you,” Ryo teased but stopped making out with Tatsuya nonetheless.
“Oh, shut up! We’re not like the two of you,” she retorted.
“I doubt that. Knowing how Pi is,” he teased. “Did you know that he never stayed in a single relationship for more than a few months? And he’s been with you for like almost a year now. You wouldn’t want him to get tired of you, right? You should be a bit more aggressive and adventurous.”
“Has Tomo been telling you that? He thinks I’m boring?” she said looking a bit down.
“Tsk! Ryo! Look what you’ve done!” Tatsuya said smacking his boyfriend’s shoulder. He sat next to Katrina and hugged his best friend. “Don’t think too much of that, sweetie. I believe Pi’s days of playing around are over. He really loves you. And if he’s cheating with you, I’d be the first one to castrate him,” he tried to console her.
“But what if Ryo’s right? We don’t see each other that much. And I can’t always be free on his day offs,” she said still worried.
Tatsuya glared at Ryo who look sheepish. Usually, Katrina is quite confident with herself but Ryo knew from experience that once the girl has taken in some alcohol, all her insecurities come out. He witnessed it when he made her drink during Tatsuya’s birthday celebration. Yamapi had a hard time reassuring her until she fell asleep.
“I think I’ll go look for Tomo and help him out with the drinks,” Katrina said and left the room.
“Ryo!”
“Sorry, hime. I just love to tease her. She’s so like you in many ways.”
“That’s not reason enough. What if they fight because of that?” Tatsuya said.
Suddenly, Katrina burst into the room crying.
“I’m going home. Here’s the spare key,” she sobbed while giving Tatsuya a key.
She just left when Yamapi came in.
“Where’s Kat?” he asked
“She said she’s going home. What happened?” Tatsuya asked worried.
“It was just a misunderstanding,” he replied.
“Yamashita Tomohisa! You made my best friend cry so you better explain yourself if you want to come out of this club alive!” Tatsuya threatened menacingly.
“Umm... I...” he hesitated and slumped on the couch. “She saw me when Aya kissed me.”
“Aya? You mean your ex-girlfriend? What is she doing here?” Ryo asked.
“She said she’s out with friends. They have a photo shoot here. We were just talking by the bar when Katrina came. Suddenly, Aya’s kissing me. The next thing I remember was slap on my face,” he explained.
“You’re telling the truth, right?” Tatsuya said doubtfully.
“I am. I swear Tat-chan! I would never cheat on her. I love her too much!”
Tatsuya nodded. “I think we’ve drank enough. Let’s go home.”
When they get home, the house is dark. Katrina is neither in their bedroom nor in the other guest room. They tried calling her but she won’t answer her phone. They started to get worried.
“I’ll check the guest house,” Tatsuya said.
“I’ll go with you,” Yamapi said.
“I think you better not. She won’t open the door if she sees you with me. I’ll let you know if she’s there.”
Tatsuya went to the guest house which is a few meters away from the main house.
“Kat! Are you in there? Open up sweetie,” Tatsuya called while knocking the door.
The door opened showing a puffy-eyed Katrina. She hugged Tatsuya tightly and cried hard. Tatsuya knowing she won’t let go, carried her into the house and settled on the couch with Katrina on his lap. He rubbed her back to console her.
“Let me know what happened,” Tatsuya said.
“I... *hiccup* saw him... *sobbed* he’s kissing a girl!” she wailed. “Maybe Ryo’s right. He’s bored with me already.”
“Maybe it’s just a misunderstanding or you’re looking at a wrong angle. I know Pi loves you. You should talk with him to clear things up.”
“I don’t want to talk to him. I don’t want to see him,” she cried.
Back to the main house, Yamapi has been walking back and forth. He’s worried about Katrina and afraid that she would break up with him because of what happened-he won’t let the latter happen, of course.
“Pi, sorry. I think I’m partly to blame on how she reacted,” Ryo confessed.
Yamapi looked at him curiously.
“I teased her about how you might be bored with her. And I’ve kind of let it slip your previous dating habits before you got together.”
“No, it’s my entire fault. I shouldn’t have chatted with Aya in the first place. I know she’s been trying to get back together with me. I already told her I’m happy with my Katrina but she keeps on bugging me still. And it didn’t help that Kat is quite vulnerable when she’s drunk,” Yamapi said sitting on the couch burying his face in his palms.
Ryo sat beside him and pat him on the back. They sat in silence and literally jumped when the front door opened.
“Kat!” Yamapi exclaimed.
“Shh! She’s just sleeping,” Tatsuya said.
Yamapi took Katrina from Tatsuya and kissed her on the forehead.
“She cried herself to sleep so she doesn’t know I took her back,” he explained.
“I’ll take it from here,” Yamapi said.
Yamapi took her into their room and changed her clothes. He wiped her face and arms with a damp towel. He noticed her puffy eyes.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart, I don’t mean to make you cry. It’s just a misunderstanding. You have to let me explain,” he said then kissed her forehead.
The following morning, Katrina woke up with a headache. She’s never been good in handling alcohol. She was slightly disoriented and didn’t notice that she’s back in the main house until Yamapi came in to check up on her.
“Good morning, sweetheart! Would like me to bring you breakfast?” he greeted.
“Don’t you fucking call me sweetheart! And it’s not a good morning because you’re the first one I see. Get the hell out of my sight!” she said obviously livid, hangover forgotten.
Yamapi tried to approach her but she threw the alarm clock to his direction. He has no choice but to get out of the room and use the door as a shield. He sighed.
“Guess she’s up, huh?” Tatsuya said. They were in the kitchen having breakfast when Yamapi went to check if Katrina’s awake already.
Yamapi nodded.
“I guess, I’ll go and talk to her,” he offered. Yamapi prepared Katrina’s breakfast and gave it to Tatsuya.
“Ryo, how do you make Tat-chan forgive you whenever you fight?” he asked
“I cook his favourite dishes or buy him a gift. But I think right now you have to let her cool down or she won’t listen to what you have to say,” the other replied.
Yamapi sighed. “I can’t let her be mad at me this long. I miss her. She’s shrugging me off even in her sleep. She won’t even let me hug her.”
“Ok, I’ll help you out. How about we prepare lunch by the pool and you get her flowers or something?” Ryo suggested.
“Anything for her to forgive me,” he agreed and the two of them left to shop.
Meanwhile, inside the room...
“C’mon, eat up. Your hangover won’t pass if you don’t eat. And take this painkiller,” Tatsuya said.
“Why did you bring me back here?” Katrina asked.
“Because I can’t let you stay in the guest house alone. And Pi’s been really worried about you.”
She snorted. “Yeah, right.”
“Stubborn as usual. Just eat then let’s go for a swim to cool you down.”
“I have a headache.”
“It’ll pass. You’re ruining the vacation you know.”
“I’m not the one who ruined it. He did! He’s the one who went on snogging women.”
“It’s not the way you think. You should let him explain. It was just a misunderstanding. It was the girl who kissed him.”
“You believe him! How could you?! You’re my best friend, you’re should be beating him to a pulp already!”
“Oh, stop being childish! That girl has been hounding Pi for the longest time. But Pi turned her down because he said he’s happy with you and he loves you. I guess the girl didn’t take it quite well that’s why she did that. You should learn to trust your boyfriend and not jump into conclusions.”
Katrina did not reply but ate silently. Tatsuya, knowing her very well, knows she’s planning something. He’s sure it’s something he can’t dissuade her from. But Katrina can be really wicked at times. He just hopes that Yamapi would be able to survive the day.
“Tatsu, can we just stay by the pool? I don’t feel like walking all the way to the beach.”
“Sure. Let me just wash the dishes.”
“I’ll help you out.”
Tatsuya received a message from Ryo that he and Pi went out that’s why he was not surprised that the two men were not in the kitchen. Katrina, though surprised that Yamapi was not there, kept silent while helping out her best friend clean up the kitchen.
When Ryo and Yamapi got back, Tatsuya was coming out of the room wearing his swimming shorts.
“Hime, why are you wearing that?” Ryo asked.
“Kat and I are going out for a swim.”
“Mou~ I want to swim with you but I promised to help Pi prepare lunch,” he said with a pout.
“Don’t worry, we’ll go for a swim again later,” Tatsuya compromised.
Just then, Katrina walked in to the kitchen and their jaws dropped. She’s wearing a skimpy string bikini showing off her curves and flawless skin. Tatsuya was the first one to recover and looked at Pi who’s drooling, literally. Now, he got an idea what Katrina has been scheming in her mind.
“Ryo, you’re supposed to be gay. You shouldn’t be having nosebleed over a woman,” Tatsuya teased.
“I’m not! I will only have nosebleed because of you,” he said. “But I’d rather not get near with you right now or else Pi would have to prepare lunch by himself. Go and enjoy your swim. We’ll join you later.”
“Let’s go, Tatsu,” Katrina said then dragged him out of the kitchen into the pool area which can be seen through the dining hall.
Yamapi watched as his girlfriend walk out of the room. He watched her sway her hips and swallowed hard. His eyes are glued to her as she bent to lay the towel on the tanning bed, when she dove into the water and swim. He’s salivating.
“Pi, come back to earth! Let’s get this started, shall we?” Ryo snapped Yamapi back from his trance. Sure, he knows that his girlfriend is hot stuff but it’s the first time he’s seen her in a swimsuit. Definitely drool worthy. Before he can touch and mark that hot body again, he has to work on his apology lunch.
The two men, who were eager to join their lovers in the pool, worked on lunch quickly. And soon enough, everything’s ready and set up.
“Wow! That looks great!” Tatsuya exclaimed when he saw the lunch the two prepared. He dragged Katrina out of the pool and approached the two men.
Yamapi didn’t waste time. As soon as Katrina is close enough, he took her hand and looked her in the eye.
“I love you, and I love only you. Last night was a misunderstanding. I would never kiss nor would want to another woman. I would never cheat on you. Please, believe me?” Yamapi said.
“Should I?” Katrina asked. She’s swept away by those words but she can’t let her resolve waiver. He has to realize that he’d never find someone like her. He has to work to earn her forgiveness.
“Yes,” Yamapi said as he reach out under the table and took out a bouquet. “Because I would never be able to live without you in my life. I would never be able to find someone as wonderful as you. I’m done running around. I’m finally ready to go home and my home is with you.”
Those words did it. She hugged him, tears flowing down her face. “I love you,” was all she said.
“I love you too,” Yamapi declared before giving her a passionate kiss.
“Hime,” Ryo said siding with his boyfriend before capturing his lips with his own. Tatsuya can’t help but smile into the kiss.
Needless to say, the rest of the vacation has been full of love and fun-and maybe we can add naughty nights.

Her relationship with Yamapi is so different with her and Tatsuya’s so she never even thought of comparing the two. Yamapi made her feel like she’d never felt with Tatsuya before. Yamapi is an intense and passionate lover and they synch perfectly together. And she could never deny that she has fallen in love with this man so deep there’s no way out.
“I’d like to see you try,” she said trying to match his teasing tone. “But before that, let’s arrange the groceries since the two of them won’t be going out for a while.”
“I think I’ve gotten used to them making out and disappearing since I work with Ryo. It makes me miss you more though. That’s why sometimes I don’t like hanging out with them,” Yamapi said while they were putting away the groceries.
As soon as the groceries have been put away, Yamapi sneaked behind Katrina and picked her up which earned a yelp from the young lady.
“What the?! Tomo, put me down!”
“No way! Ryo and Tat-chan have been getting themselves busy while we’re being responsible adults. So, why don’t we play for a bit, ne? We still have a few hours before we go out for dinner,” he said as he walk towards the bedroom.
It was around 7 in the evening when the two couples went out of their respective rooms to go out for dinner. They had dinner in an Italian restaurant before going out for a drink.
“Can’t the two of you stop eating each other out?” Katrina said to Ryo and Tatsuya. They are in a private lounge of a club. They have been drinking for a few hours already but Yamapi went and still get them drinks.
“Don’t worry you can do it with Pi later. We won’t bother you,” Ryo teased but stopped making out with Tatsuya nonetheless.
“Oh, shut up! We’re not like the two of you,” she retorted.
“I doubt that. Knowing how Pi is,” he teased. “Did you know that he never stayed in a single relationship for more than a few months? And he’s been with you for like almost a year now. You wouldn’t want him to get tired of you, right? You should be a bit more aggressive and adventurous.”
“Has Tomo been telling you that? He thinks I’m boring?” she said looking a bit down.
“Tsk! Ryo! Look what you’ve done!” Tatsuya said smacking his boyfriend’s shoulder. He sat next to Katrina and hugged his best friend. “Don’t think too much of that, sweetie. I believe Pi’s days of playing around are over. He really loves you. And if he’s cheating with you, I’d be the first one to castrate him,” he tried to console her.
“But what if Ryo’s right? We don’t see each other that much. And I can’t always be free on his day offs,” she said still worried.
Tatsuya glared at Ryo who look sheepish. Usually, Katrina is quite confident with herself but Ryo knew from experience that once the girl has taken in some alcohol, all her insecurities come out. He witnessed it when he made her drink during Tatsuya’s birthday celebration. Yamapi had a hard time reassuring her until she fell asleep.
“I think I’ll go look for Tomo and help him out with the drinks,” Katrina said and left the room.
“Ryo!”
“Sorry, hime. I just love to tease her. She’s so like you in many ways.”
“That’s not reason enough. What if they fight because of that?” Tatsuya said.
Suddenly, Katrina burst into the room crying.
“I’m going home. Here’s the spare key,” she sobbed while giving Tatsuya a key.
She just left when Yamapi came in.
“Where’s Kat?” he asked
“She said she’s going home. What happened?” Tatsuya asked worried.
“It was just a misunderstanding,” he replied.
“Yamashita Tomohisa! You made my best friend cry so you better explain yourself if you want to come out of this club alive!” Tatsuya threatened menacingly.
“Umm... I...” he hesitated and slumped on the couch. “She saw me when Aya kissed me.”
“Aya? You mean your ex-girlfriend? What is she doing here?” Ryo asked.
“She said she’s out with friends. They have a photo shoot here. We were just talking by the bar when Katrina came. Suddenly, Aya’s kissing me. The next thing I remember was slap on my face,” he explained.
“You’re telling the truth, right?” Tatsuya said doubtfully.
“I am. I swear Tat-chan! I would never cheat on her. I love her too much!”
Tatsuya nodded. “I think we’ve drank enough. Let’s go home.”
When they get home, the house is dark. Katrina is neither in their bedroom nor in the other guest room. They tried calling her but she won’t answer her phone. They started to get worried.
“I’ll check the guest house,” Tatsuya said.
“I’ll go with you,” Yamapi said.
“I think you better not. She won’t open the door if she sees you with me. I’ll let you know if she’s there.”
Tatsuya went to the guest house which is a few meters away from the main house.
“Kat! Are you in there? Open up sweetie,” Tatsuya called while knocking the door.
The door opened showing a puffy-eyed Katrina. She hugged Tatsuya tightly and cried hard. Tatsuya knowing she won’t let go, carried her into the house and settled on the couch with Katrina on his lap. He rubbed her back to console her.
“Let me know what happened,” Tatsuya said.
“I... *hiccup* saw him... *sobbed* he’s kissing a girl!” she wailed. “Maybe Ryo’s right. He’s bored with me already.”
“Maybe it’s just a misunderstanding or you’re looking at a wrong angle. I know Pi loves you. You should talk with him to clear things up.”
“I don’t want to talk to him. I don’t want to see him,” she cried.
Back to the main house, Yamapi has been walking back and forth. He’s worried about Katrina and afraid that she would break up with him because of what happened-he won’t let the latter happen, of course.
“Pi, sorry. I think I’m partly to blame on how she reacted,” Ryo confessed.
Yamapi looked at him curiously.
“I teased her about how you might be bored with her. And I’ve kind of let it slip your previous dating habits before you got together.”
“No, it’s my entire fault. I shouldn’t have chatted with Aya in the first place. I know she’s been trying to get back together with me. I already told her I’m happy with my Katrina but she keeps on bugging me still. And it didn’t help that Kat is quite vulnerable when she’s drunk,” Yamapi said sitting on the couch burying his face in his palms.
Ryo sat beside him and pat him on the back. They sat in silence and literally jumped when the front door opened.
“Kat!” Yamapi exclaimed.
“Shh! She’s just sleeping,” Tatsuya said.
Yamapi took Katrina from Tatsuya and kissed her on the forehead.
“She cried herself to sleep so she doesn’t know I took her back,” he explained.
“I’ll take it from here,” Yamapi said.
Yamapi took her into their room and changed her clothes. He wiped her face and arms with a damp towel. He noticed her puffy eyes.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart, I don’t mean to make you cry. It’s just a misunderstanding. You have to let me explain,” he said then kissed her forehead.
The following morning, Katrina woke up with a headache. She’s never been good in handling alcohol. She was slightly disoriented and didn’t notice that she’s back in the main house until Yamapi came in to check up on her.
“Good morning, sweetheart! Would like me to bring you breakfast?” he greeted.
“Don’t you fucking call me sweetheart! And it’s not a good morning because you’re the first one I see. Get the hell out of my sight!” she said obviously livid, hangover forgotten.
Yamapi tried to approach her but she threw the alarm clock to his direction. He has no choice but to get out of the room and use the door as a shield. He sighed.
“Guess she’s up, huh?” Tatsuya said. They were in the kitchen having breakfast when Yamapi went to check if Katrina’s awake already.
Yamapi nodded.
“I guess, I’ll go and talk to her,” he offered. Yamapi prepared Katrina’s breakfast and gave it to Tatsuya.
“Ryo, how do you make Tat-chan forgive you whenever you fight?” he asked
“I cook his favourite dishes or buy him a gift. But I think right now you have to let her cool down or she won’t listen to what you have to say,” the other replied.
Yamapi sighed. “I can’t let her be mad at me this long. I miss her. She’s shrugging me off even in her sleep. She won’t even let me hug her.”
“Ok, I’ll help you out. How about we prepare lunch by the pool and you get her flowers or something?” Ryo suggested.
“Anything for her to forgive me,” he agreed and the two of them left to shop.
Meanwhile, inside the room...
“C’mon, eat up. Your hangover won’t pass if you don’t eat. And take this painkiller,” Tatsuya said.
“Why did you bring me back here?” Katrina asked.
“Because I can’t let you stay in the guest house alone. And Pi’s been really worried about you.”
She snorted. “Yeah, right.”
“Stubborn as usual. Just eat then let’s go for a swim to cool you down.”
“I have a headache.”
“It’ll pass. You’re ruining the vacation you know.”
“I’m not the one who ruined it. He did! He’s the one who went on snogging women.”
“It’s not the way you think. You should let him explain. It was just a misunderstanding. It was the girl who kissed him.”
“You believe him! How could you?! You’re my best friend, you’re should be beating him to a pulp already!”
“Oh, stop being childish! That girl has been hounding Pi for the longest time. But Pi turned her down because he said he’s happy with you and he loves you. I guess the girl didn’t take it quite well that’s why she did that. You should learn to trust your boyfriend and not jump into conclusions.”
Katrina did not reply but ate silently. Tatsuya, knowing her very well, knows she’s planning something. He’s sure it’s something he can’t dissuade her from. But Katrina can be really wicked at times. He just hopes that Yamapi would be able to survive the day.
“Tatsu, can we just stay by the pool? I don’t feel like walking all the way to the beach.”
“Sure. Let me just wash the dishes.”
“I’ll help you out.”
Tatsuya received a message from Ryo that he and Pi went out that’s why he was not surprised that the two men were not in the kitchen. Katrina, though surprised that Yamapi was not there, kept silent while helping out her best friend clean up the kitchen.
When Ryo and Yamapi got back, Tatsuya was coming out of the room wearing his swimming shorts.
“Hime, why are you wearing that?” Ryo asked.
“Kat and I are going out for a swim.”
“Mou~ I want to swim with you but I promised to help Pi prepare lunch,” he said with a pout.
“Don’t worry, we’ll go for a swim again later,” Tatsuya compromised.
Just then, Katrina walked in to the kitchen and their jaws dropped. She’s wearing a skimpy string bikini showing off her curves and flawless skin. Tatsuya was the first one to recover and looked at Pi who’s drooling, literally. Now, he got an idea what Katrina has been scheming in her mind.
“Ryo, you’re supposed to be gay. You shouldn’t be having nosebleed over a woman,” Tatsuya teased.
“I’m not! I will only have nosebleed because of you,” he said. “But I’d rather not get near with you right now or else Pi would have to prepare lunch by himself. Go and enjoy your swim. We’ll join you later.”
“Let’s go, Tatsu,” Katrina said then dragged him out of the kitchen into the pool area which can be seen through the dining hall.
Yamapi watched as his girlfriend walk out of the room. He watched her sway her hips and swallowed hard. His eyes are glued to her as she bent to lay the towel on the tanning bed, when she dove into the water and swim. He’s salivating.
“Pi, come back to earth! Let’s get this started, shall we?” Ryo snapped Yamapi back from his trance. Sure, he knows that his girlfriend is hot stuff but it’s the first time he’s seen her in a swimsuit. Definitely drool worthy. Before he can touch and mark that hot body again, he has to work on his apology lunch.
The two men, who were eager to join their lovers in the pool, worked on lunch quickly. And soon enough, everything’s ready and set up.
“Wow! That looks great!” Tatsuya exclaimed when he saw the lunch the two prepared. He dragged Katrina out of the pool and approached the two men.
Yamapi didn’t waste time. As soon as Katrina is close enough, he took her hand and looked her in the eye.
“I love you, and I love only you. Last night was a misunderstanding. I would never kiss nor would want to another woman. I would never cheat on you. Please, believe me?” Yamapi said.
“Should I?” Katrina asked. She’s swept away by those words but she can’t let her resolve waiver. He has to realize that he’d never find someone like her. He has to work to earn her forgiveness.
“Yes,” Yamapi said as he reach out under the table and took out a bouquet. “Because I would never be able to live without you in my life. I would never be able to find someone as wonderful as you. I’m done running around. I’m finally ready to go home and my home is with you.”
Those words did it. She hugged him, tears flowing down her face. “I love you,” was all she said.
“I love you too,” Yamapi declared before giving her a passionate kiss.
“Hime,” Ryo said siding with his boyfriend before capturing his lips with his own. Tatsuya can’t help but smile into the kiss.
Needless to say, the rest of the vacation has been full of love and fun-and maybe we can add naughty nights.
