[KameDa] Stating Intentions

Summary: Working away for his drama made Tatsuya realize how much he cares for Kazuya. Back in Tokyo, he decided to make his move.

Tatsuya likes doing solo work. He likes the idea of meeting new people and learning new things. A sponge that absorbs every experience to draw from them. That's what he wants himself to be.
When the role of Kuuya was offered to him, he embraced it with enthusiasm, looking forward to discoveries and new knowledge. In the past months, he discovered his love for acting and the value of camaraderie at work. He learned the value of home and the warmth it brings, and why KAT-TUN is like home. Tatsuya never expected though, that being away from Tokyo and his group would also make him realize his feelings for one of them.
And because he's Tatsuya, he has a one-track mind. If he likes something, or in this case someone, he's going to pursue it with all the passion he has. That's why as soon as the interview with Hanamaru Cafe is done, he's dialing the number of the person who have been occupying his mind for a while.
"Moshi moshi," the answer came after the third ring.
"Yo! Let's have lunch together," he said energetically. Almost being in his character in drama.
"Tatchan?" the confused voice travelled to his ears.
"Hai! Is it okay if I text you the address?"
"Okay." Unsure answer but Tatsuya isn't going to let him change his mind.
"Great! I'll see you later. I've missed you!" he said, hanging up without waiting for a reply.
'That went well,' he thought while putting his things in his bag.
He was stepping out of the dressing room when his phone rang.
"Moshi moshi"
"Ueda, let's eat lunch together," his best friend said.
"Sorry, Yuichi. I've invited Kame already."
"Better. I'll call Ko--"
"Dame!" he interrupted. "I'm eating with Kame alone. Don't be dense."
Tatsuya hung up without explaining. Yuichi is his best friend for a reason.
He entered the restaurant the same time Kame arrived at the parking lot. Smiling brightly as he watches the other man walk towards their table. The slight blush on Kame's cheeks didn't go unnoticed to the seated man.
Whatever Kame was chanting in his head before meeting Tatsuya was blown by the wind as soon as he saw him smile making Kame blush while his heart flutters. But one thing he loves about the older man is his ability to relax Kame.
As how it was usually between them, conversation flowed freely and smoothly like a calming breeze. Talking about what they've been up to since the last time they saw each other, reverted Kame to his sometimes serious and sometimes playful self. Tatsuya watch him talk about Fuku-kun animatedly and smiled affectionately at the younger man.
When it was Tatsuya's turn to talk about the drama set of Runaway and Sea-chan, Kame can't help the sadness he felt remembering how much the man in front of him wants to have a daughter. That's why he didn't notice Ueda is talking about something else already and stared at the boxer when his mind registered what's being said.
Kame smiled and try to be nonchalant. "Kuuya, is that you?" he said grinning.
Tatsuya rolled his eyes, reached for Kame's hand and repeated what he said while locking his gaze on the other guy. "Kazuya, I like you. A lot."
Seeing the determination and seriousness in Tatsuya's eyes, Kazuya's heart starts to beat so fast he feels like getting a heart attack while he drowns in those brown orbs.
'This is bad!' was the first thought he had.
