First two days of LA work were fun. Working with a lot of Michigan people out here.
I saw Philip Glass perform live with the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl for free on Thursday. Great shit!
Watched Monty Python's The Meaning of Life at Grauman's Egyptian Theater. Pretty cool. I like that movie. It was a double feature with Holy Grail, but I didn't feel like watching Holy Grail so I didn't.
Saw 500 Days of Summer at the CINERAMA HUGE-O SCREEN tonight. I liked a lot of it. I absolutely hated about 20% of it. Summer is from Michigan and moved to LA. WEIRD, HUH?
Parts of downtown LA look a lot like Detroit. Only minus the rust. And with Mexicans instead of black folks. And some of the buildings are in use.
I think Michigan is haunting me. Weird, huh? I regret not checking out Detroit more when I lived around there.
Side note: I may help write a thing involving Chevy Chase on funnyordie. Weird, huh?
