Killer parties almost killed me

Got back from a fun party. Lots of fun homemade videos. Lots of old and new friends. Lots of people complaining about how "freaking cold" it is (it's around 50 degrees outside). Dueling iPod batles. Satan made an appearance. I like it here.

Saw Watchmen last night at the Vista. It's a good-looking movie. It's about as good as a movie version of Watchmen could possibly be. I heard somebody say that making a movie version of Watchmen would be like making a stage play of Citizen Kane. Sure, it'd work, but what's the point? The medium is the message. Read the comic book. That said, it's still a good movie. With blue dicks and everything!

I'm flying back to Michigan on Wednesday. Then I'm buying a car and driving back across the country with a pile of stuff.

We're planning on moving to a new apartment. I've been living on a futon in a living room for the past month, so it'd be nice to have some privacy (i.e. a place to cry).

On Tuesday I'm going to see Comedy Death Ray at the UCB Theater for the second time. The lineup is awesome: David Cross, Jen Kirkman, Nick Kroll, and Nick Thune. Awesome.

In conclusion: parties are fun, read Watchmen and maybe see Watchmen, find me an apartment and a job, let me cry in peace, and I'm seeing David Cross. Fuck y'all. All y'all. If y'all don't like me, blow me.
