(no subject)
Okay, so I actually do have an in on The Tonight Show. But it's iffy. I have a new friend who is a locations guy who knows the production coordinator on the show. So that's a start. There's also a funny show called Community that I kind of have an in on. Other than that, I've been faxing my resume to all kinds of places that aren't hiring me.
I'm okay with that. here's my plan:
Fly back to Michigan on the 11th.
Buy a car.
Say goodbye to Michigan friends.
Drive to Chicago.
Buy ultramark's DVX.
Drive to Los Angeles, CA.
Find my way around.
Work on the pickups for High School.
Land another real job.
Maybe move into a place with my own room.
Life will be much easier with a car. I wish I didn't hate driving, and that driving didn't hate our environment.
People in (or, more specifically, from) LA are weak and puny. Yesterday it was 70 degrees out and I saw people wearing hats, scarves, hoodies, and sweaters. What the fuck?
I remember that, during Demoted the LA crewmembers would bundle up when it was in the 60's, with hats and everything. What the fuck.
FUN FACT: They don't use the term "party store" here. Also, they don't have pop. Also, taco trucks are magical. Also, Apple owns the place.
