So I arrived in LA on Thursday. It's been fun. I've settled in here. I don't have a car, so I'm at the mercy of my friends to get anywhere (and, in turn, do anything). So far we've done stuff. It's been fun.
The weather, while a vast improvement over that of Michigan's, is not incredible. It's gloomy and occasionally rainy.
LA FACT: this is the first time it has ever rained in LA. The people are revolting (in the best sense of the term).
It was in the 80s the day before I arrived. I kind of want my airfare back. Or a time machine.
I'm staying in an apartment just outside of Silver Lake. It's in a gang-heavy neighborhood. I guess I'm joining a gang.
I'm half waiting for the folks at High School to contact me regarding LA pickups (my boss said I'd be informed) and I'm half waiting for Michigan employment news. I don't have a plane ticket back to Detroit yet, so right now I'm just assuming that everything is going to fall into place.
