So I guess I neglected to mention how my brother mike's wedding went. It all went really well, except for when the priest asked for the rings. That's when all HELL broke loose:
I reached into my pocket and fumbled around with the rings for a couple of seconds. Then I tried to take them out without having a real firm grip. I succeeded with one, but the other fell off the side of my finger. Almost instantly I could hear it spinning like a large fan as I watched it tumble towards the ground in slow motion. I quickly looked to my right to see Ant screaming "NOOOOO!" and diving to catch the ring, but his efforts were in vain, as it bounced off his hand and landed on the ground with a loud thunderous sound. The entire church let out a collective moan. I could hear my Mother from the closest seat next to me mutter under her breath "Fuckin' Idiot." I looked up at the priest's eyes to see the reflection of my brother next to me crying because I ruined his wedding. The entire day was ruined because of me.
I stared at Ant as he layed on the ground in a pool of blood, almost as if he were lifeless. I picked up his head and cradled it in my left arm. With his eyes welded shut and blood flooding out of the sides of his mouth, he whispered "go yankees." I then proceeded to pick up the ring and hand it back to the priest. The priest then gave me a wink and a smile, and proceeded with the wedding. My brother thanked me later for being the first to mess up, because it took all the pressure of him. That's why I tell everyone that I dropped the ring on purpose.
By the way, none of that story was dramatized at all.
Last weekend was the streetlight concert.
Jensen's band ( <- clickable link to Awful Waffle) was phenomal, and so was streetlight. There was something about Whole Wheat Bread that made me feel like I was gonna get shot after the show, I couldn't figure out what it was though. Haha. Someone is gonna get that joke. No? Why not? Ok.
Blegh- insert meaningful life changing experience here.
Well, I got nothing else to say. Motion City Soundtrack is so good.
