Club Orpheus
For those of you who know the place, I'm worried about the future of Club Orpheus which serves as home to Ascension on Fridays, Rapture on Saturdays and The Garden every other Sunday.
Ascension seems to be doing fine, but Saturday nights have been steadily losing business for months which makes me wonder just how much longer the place can stay open. (Please note, I have heard nothing official to indicate this is forthcoming, it's just a gut feeling.)
I have a lot of fond memories of Club Orpheus and I'm also fond of it's newest Saturday night hosts, Shawn and Jeannie, who are really investing themselves into their night.
If you've ever been there and enjoyed yourself, please stop by some time on a Saturday night for a drink and check the place out. It's been cleaned up and work is being done on the lighting and sound system. Also, the format of the night and it's music is in a state of evolution and now would be a good opportunity to help mold a new night.
November 26th has been designated the "official" grand opening. I hope to see a lot of familiar faces.
