More good news
I just found out that this past Sunday, one of my favorite teachers from High School died when he fell off a catwalk while setting up lights in the school auditorium for a church service that met there.
This is a direct quote from the school's site and yet another one of those things that you either have to laugh or cry about. This time, I think I'll do a little of both. By the way, the "Screaming Eagle" was our school mascot.
We regret to inform the Seneca Valley High School community that a tragic accident occurred Sunday morning, which resulted in the death of one of our staff members. At approximately 7:15 a.m. our media technician, John Horvat, was on the catwalk adjusting the lights for the church service that meets in our auditorium on Sunday mornings. Apparently, he lost his footing and fell to his death.
Mr. Horvat was an integral and valued member of our Seneca Valley family and we are all saddened by his passing. Mr. Horvat was not only our media technician; he was also a trusted colleague, friend and screaming eagle until the end.
