New Years Resolutions

My aims for this year are:

1. Get up early everyday - 6am is the plan, following sermoa's lead.

2. Go swimming / to the gym before work. I'm going to try to go every weekday, but if I manage an average of three times a week, I'll be very happy.

3. Make sandwiches for lunch at work more often, rather than going to the shops and buying lunch.

4. Be more efficient at work - spend more time working and less time work-avoiding, so I don't end up behind in my work so often (which will make me less stressed). Making progress on my career aims would be good too.

5. Complete my Chartered Engineer qualification.

6. Budget better - be more frugal.

7. Spend as much time as possible going to see cabbagemedley in Italy and Salford. And, indeed, seeing other friends who I might not see as often as I should.

8. Organise myself so that I can make progress with my multitude of projects - Photography course, OU Maths degree, trading software, etc.

9. I'm going to put "gain a good working knowledge of a foreign language" on, although I'm not sure where I'm going to fit it in. Italian is looking like this years prime candidate. (I'd like to do a language a year, starting with French, Italian and German, then moving on to something more exotic - Mandarin, Punjabi, Japanese?)

I guess I should think of another to make it a round 10....

Ok - 10. Be more environmentally friendly by motorcylcing to work, rather than driving the car (yes, I know I should bicycle...)
