too much weed makes time go by...but you don't know remember what went by.
hardcore arguments over music. selling out, over time, can be viewed as progression of art. progression of art by straying from the boundries of genre alienates the artist from its fanbase but pushes the form forward --- is Norah Jones Jazz? banjos in a raggae song?
24 season 5 is good...but so far not as good as season 4. Twenty Four is like watching the edge-of-your-seat "ending" over and over and over again...i love how they create a sense of urgency (almost always justified) at the end of each episode. Twenty Four is crack.
American Idol is the greates show on television right now. My two favourites are: 1. the 16 yr old girl from Colorado with long, black curly hair...she sang a Whitney Houston song and filled the room. 2. the young girl from San Fran who sang a Billie Holiday tune....WOW!! unique speaking voice that veils a vocal prowess that almost made me cry.....puuuure goosebumps when i heard this lady sing.
my sleeping schedule sucks...i wake too late (around 1ish) and I stay up late. basically, I reach outta my house at around 2:30am to go to a friend's house 3nights a week.....but the time between 11pm and 2:30pm is often times a void....restless time...boredom time....boo.
we gotta reach the Rex again.

looks can be deceiving. my new sparring partner at the Y is the Fresh Prince. He took boxing lessons for a bit. He comes from Philly...spent most of his days on the playground. One day, a couple of guys who were up to no good started making trouble in his neighbourhood. He got in one little fight and his mom got scared. So after the "get to know ya" period we get to the fighting. dude was just plain aweful. couldn't throw a punch. ended up spending the entire session 'training' him. semi-boo....its gonna be fun running circles around him tho...makes me seem all that much cooler.
my "On Paper" status is making a slight improvement. The Imaginis Marketing/Sympatico data-entry job is mine. Far from the ideal, but Mark used it to finance his Japan trip as well as open up his free time for freelance projects. Its basically a mindless job that allows me to watch movies or tv while im working. Its a small step towards bigger steps.
I wrote a short story about the Loneliest Bug. I think its actually pretty good. Its gonna hopefully be made into an animated short film. Im excited.
Still no word on Cleveland. Boo! Starting to think its not gonna happen.
met up with some old OLD highschool friends. good times.
I am almost entirely free of other people's drama...it was super ultra fun while it lasted, but I think im done for now. it was exciting but its gotten boring and it was pretty useless after all. actually, no..it was a great exercise in game and I learned a lot...so it wasn't useless....and again, Im not entirely free from it.
Still watching the Jazz documentary. If anyone is interested in seeing it, let me know.
The weather has gotten to me. Cold. Luckily, the average temp is gonna rise up until the weekend.
I voted. For the first time ever. It felt good to be part of that process.
