Since getting into a relationship my prepaid cellphone costs have gone up about fivefold.  And their nickel-and-diming on text messages is a surprisingly big part of the total lately.  Might be time to get a real cellphone, like a MetroPCS maybe.  Up to this point there's been no need because most long conversations have been on my Vonage line.  (And even that bumped into its 500 minute ceiling in February, but the excess was only a few bucks.)

As a stopgap I think I'll take advantage of the bulk buy rate on text messages.  At the current pace it'll probably save $10 or $15 a month.
