Hurrah!
Internet returned on Friday afternoon, just a few hours before we went away for the weekend (third anniversary thang) to Northumberland. Have somehow avoided melting. Stayed in a pub in Allenhead (on the wrong side of the Durham - Northumberland border), and visited Hexham and Kielder and then a slow saunter back through Weardale (via a Museum and such). Then there was fireworks (not for us though, but for Bowburn's 100th anniversary, but they were nice - except to the cat).
