I have another damn physiology test tomorrow- 5 of 6. It's been 2 1/2 weeks! So there shouldn't be a lot of material, right? Wrong! It's about the same amount, we've only had less time in which to learn it. Aaargh! Why can't I enjoy all of my classes at once?? And I didn't get a B on my last exam ,so I need to get an A on these last two HA HA hahahaha! So not happening. I will put in a great deal of effort, though. Tonight ;) Wishing I could be a certain feline I know..
Speaking of enjoying classes; I got a bright, sunny start to my day when, after missing my first class so that I could learn from a repairman that the reason our fridge stopped working is that it was turned off, the professor for the class I missed gave a guest lecture on one of his other occupations- forensic entomologist. Complete with authentic crime scene photos of murder victims in various states of insect invasion. "Do you see all that white? Those are maggots." Promise me, all of you, that you will never ever cross your drug dealer. They might just turn out to be very nasty folk. *shudder*
Thankfully, enough has happened since then that my queasiness has abated and I can go grocery shopping, which I desperately need to do. I hadn't gone for two weeks before the fridge broke (Friday) and it would have been silly to while it was broken so my pantry is looking pretty desperate in a vacant sort of way. And now that the repairman has shown the seniors in college that turning a fridge on helps it to keep food cool, the obstacle is gone. Honestly though, we have no idea how it got turned off, nor how long it has been that way. But we sure do feel silly about it.
