It's so nice in theory. You learn it all in class and then, just before the exams, you run over it all again and the exam should then be a walk over. Somehow it just doesn't seem to work out that way. My subjects are all bunched up and yet I still won't be finished until mid June. However we are started and we are planning a big party when we are all done.
I've been looking forward to dropping so many subjects (German, History, English etc.) so I'd better do well. If I don't get good grades I couldn't face retakes.
However I have my application in to do A-levels in Brighton. I want to do Maths and Physics and probably another, either Chemistry if my GCSEs are cool or a filler subject that won't be too hard to make the numbers up. I'm still not sure what I want to do at the end of all this. I did wonder about some sort of engineering but the advice all seems to be something medical. I quite fancied being a Vet but apparently they are hugely over-subscribed, nursing is a bit 'not me' and being a Doctor might work but it's a lot of college. There isn't anything I'm really interested in so it's all up for grabs.
Perhaps what I need is a rich husband? How many A-levels do you need to be a trophy-wife?
The hours might be better in engineering and maybe I could take over Uncle's business when he retires.
