Actors don't generally influence me to see a film. They definitely can influence me to stay away, but I can't think of anyone that can get me to see a flick....

Owen Wilson and Family, Ben Stiller, Nic Cage, Jack Black, Vince Vaughan, John Travolta... the list goes on. Again, actors are rarely my motivation for seeing a movie, but these guys in particular have a propensity for choosing crap.

Isn't that what they're ALL for? Clerks, Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally (the Baby Fishmouth thing actually comes up a lot).

I don't tend to dig musicals, and, as such usually steer away from them (to me it's a genre that is only worth appreciating on the stage). To pick one, and I think that Across The Universe would be a bit of a cheat, I'd have to say The Wizard of Oz.

Yes. Back when the 400 and 7 Drive in was still in operation, it was a weekly trip during the summers of my early 20s.

Most memorably when I went to see Cocktail back in 1988. What, you didn't expect me to actually watch that crap, did you?

Dog Day Afternoon. I know, right?

Yes. Prizzi's Honor in 1985, The Pallbearer in 1996 and Honey in 2003. I would have walked out on Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer were it not for the fact that I was on a plane at the time.

When the catch scene in Field of Dreams starts rolling, the room gets VERY dusty all of a sudden!

Duh! It's not the movies without it!
17. How often do you go to the movies?
On average a couple of times a month. With a huge DVD collection and On Demand, it gets harder for them to pull me in!
18. What's the last movie you saw in the theater?
Zack and Miri Make a Porno
19. What is your favorite/preferred genre of movie?
I'm always a sucker for a good heist flick.
20. What was the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?
Disney's Robin Hood

Magnolia. That's three hours I can never get back!!!

Believe it or not, Amityville Horror 4 marks the time I was most scared by a movie. We watched it at a friend's cottage during reading week one year. I don't know if it was the pitch dark outside the cabin, the creaking of the ice on the lake, or the cases of beer consumed throughout the day, but we were all totally on edge as we made our way to bed at the end of the night.
