Jinxing myself
This week I: met up with old friend who recently moved into the city, saw Hair, took the night off to read, caught up in person with local friend who I've been in on-line contact through the PBEM Diplomacy game, went to a raucous party hosted by the Project's umbrella group, and met up with a friend from college who is taking the semester off and living an hour away in New Jersey.
Tomorrow, the Project is going out to Six Flags.
Tonight, "they" delivered the futon which will serve as my bed for the foreseeable future. This means that for the first night on a couple weeks I won't be sleeping on an air mattress. I'm excited. My room is looking better and better, but needs both a dresser and decorations. I'll post pictures once it's done.
I've been getting a little exercise. I've been learning some new things at work, and have been entertained by recent office politics. Today I attended a meeting to discuss our place in relation to other open source communities and users that was really interesting.
Things are looking up, with just a couple gnawing complaints.
