desert search for egg

out in the desert
went 4000 feet in the air and back down again
all in the comfort of my car
lush greenery quickly turned to rock
like a surreal scene from mars
most likely
star trek filming site
played musick in a military facility
loud as hell
clanging against the walls
with helicopters just outside
I now sit in the same room in uniform
and those around me have no idea the magick
that happened right where they sit now
then it was off to a gathering
of 20 likely drunk brothers
and a bruised sister
12 guinness and a fifth of jager later
I ate egg
and went to sleep
