Bram Stoker Preliminary Ballot

Jan 22, 2012 17:31

Very excited to see that my collection The Last Days of Kali Yuga has made the preliminary ballot for the Bram Stoker Awards by the Horror Writers Association. (Bram wrote Dracula, in case you didn't know).

This is the premier international award for Horror writing and I'm very excited to make the preliminary ballot. This long list (a list not so long really) gets weened down to the shortlist and final nominees in about a month's time. It's also great to see Kaaron Warren, Rocky Wood and Kyla Ward, people I know within the Australian horror circles, also up on the long list. Here's hoping some if not all of us get through!

The full preliminary ballot can be seen here:http://www.horror.org/blog/?p=2245
