Aurealis Award finalists announced

Very happy to see Her Gallant Needs (Sprawl, Twelfth Planet Press), my novelette about Atari, Mad Magazine, junk food and other coming-of-age addictions perilous for teenage boys, getting a nod in the Horror short story category. Alisa had wanted a 7000 word maximum short story though I delivered 11,000 words with an apology for the length and the subject matter, but that goes without saying. (Seems I'm always apologising for the length...)
