(no subject)
Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you had a great one and Santa was good to you!!
Wow, been another long time since updating LJ! It's funny... you buy a house and would think you would be posting a lot more but it's the other way around as your so busy doing things, you never think to talk about them! HAHA!
A few things of note going on this past month.. First, I had my good new friend, Justin over with his GF Ashlee about 3 weeks ago to help me finish insulating the garage (That's done BTW! All nice and warm in there for the rats!) and Ashlee wanted to see this new reptile/fish place by me... So we go and I finely meet the owner He lets us into a secret room and WOW! Giant snakes all over the place! Long story short, we leave after looking, both Justin and I drink more and before I know it, we are back there picking up these guys!
The Reticulated Python baby (Only 7' right now) who will bite at anything!
The 30lb Boa who I got for 30 bucks as she had a mouth problem (all better now!)
They are great snakes, I just wish the Retic was more people friendly.. He is OK when out of his compartment, but getting him out is a bitch! LOL - I think he is wild coughed ashe is also not eating. . . . . .
Boss is still sick and I have spent a ton of $$ on Vets and crap - I need to treat him twice a day and open his jaws at least once as during the night they fuse shut.... Bloody snakes take up 2 hours a day now :) I now have 3 Boas, the Retic & a Ball Python.. garage full of rats.. a spider, 2 walking sticks, some fish... OMG!
Got the Terrarium in a stand now. . . . Looks great =D
House is going great! Won't bore you all with any more pics, but the bottom line is after 8 months and MEGA bucks, I now feel like this place is mine and I feel good and happy to be home :)
