Season 5 of Leverage started on UK television this week.  Just watched the first episode, which involved fooling someone into thinking he was escaping from an aircraft museum by flying the Spruce Goose, the largest plane ever built.  Great fun

It was the largest plane built at the time. The A380 is longer though with a slightly shorter wing span. There are Russian Military transports that are bigger.

Was going on what they said on the show, but I may have been misremembering. Wikipedia says it has the largest wingspan ever.
