Random fandom stuff
So I've been a bit burned out with DC fandom of late, fan fiction fandom in general, mostly (although there is one story that I'm loving and can't wait for more--eyes
dragonbat2006). I'm hoping to finish up a couple of my stories that I've left hanging but I can't seem to get into the groove. I'm hoping a little break will help highten my interest and awaken the fandom muse. I'm mostly writing original fiction these days. It's been a challenge but a fulfilling one, too.
On another note, I've recently become a huge Harry Potter fan (hence the new avatar). I don't know why it took me this long to read the books, but I'm glad it did because I was able to read all of them without having to wait for their release. I was impressed beyond belief with the story, although the overuse of adverbs did get on my nerves.
Anyhoo, just rambling a bit today, trying to get back into a regular posting routine with LJ.
