I am sorry to see Milton go... and sorry that we did not get Soriano OR Pierre. But, oh well. We picked up Mueller, and THAT makes me happy. Rumor has it we're meeting with JOHNNY DAMON this weekend. Ok. NICE.
Johnny Damon played under our new manager Grady Little. He also won a World Series with our starting pitcher, Derek Lowe... AND our new 3rd baseman, Bill Mueller. I don't know his relationships with other teams that are trying to draw him, but I know that he enjoys the media and the spotlight... so L.A. seems like a pretty attractive destination. We'll see if we can offer him attractive bucks.
...and let's not forget we need pitching.
