Random ranty reality really.
I feel so tired.
I have a Wing Chun Grading in about a month, it is for red sash, the first grade. Looking over what you have to do for red sash it shouldn't be too hard, in fact I think I could probably do the Purple sash grade too (2nd grade).
Also told that soon there will be a Japanese instructor flying in for a visit and to teach kendo with the kendo club! I've only been there a month! And there are going to be Kendo gradings too, apparently everyone is expected to have a go and try to get some kind of grade. They said the lowest grade is just for doing basic cuts and steps so I might be okay.
Will look good on CV to say I am a Red Sash in Wing Chun Kung Fu and a whatever grade in Kendo. Must remember to get my insurance form from kendo instructor this friday.
Other news, fell over in snow and ice a few days back, landed on a paving slab that was raised up and cracked my knee on it. It still hurts now almost a week later! There is still a little bump and bruising and if I touch it I can feel something moving under the skin, I think I may have shaved off a little bit of bone. My dad said I should sue Durham County Council but I think it is too much effort and too much of my time to go about trying to get money out of the council, I may send them a letter though.
Accomodation service at Sunderland University is abosulte crap crappity crap, they want me to decide if I will be staying in my room over summer by friday! They have given me a whole two weeks to try to somehow psychically predict whether I will be staying in Sunderland for my work placement, which I thought was golly good of them really. It is not like there is another 4 months before my contract runs out! Nice little email is going their way.
Why is Durham full of idiots. Idiots who throw ice at you from a foot away then shout abuse at you, idiots who fall over drunk in the bar into your girlfriend and don't appologise or clean up the mess they made, idiots who think it is funny to stick the mop they are using to clean up the afforementioned mess into my arse while I'm trying to play on the hangman game in the bar, idiots who do all the afforementioned idiotic crap and expect me to just shrug and laugh it off instead of confronting them. Idiots.
Think my rant is over. Oh yeah found out more about that FF7 movie thing, it is called Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children, it looks really cool actually, Square Enix Japan's website has a trailer and a few desktops you can watch/download.

I also got a PS2 last week out of some uncontrolable urge, got Unlimited Saga with it. It is a nice game, the art in there is good and the game is ok. If people expect it to live up to the Final Fantasy series just because it is Square they shouldn't really buy it. It is a much slower, more tactical game, turn based in a way, strange battle system, seven different story arcs to play through. Apparently many people brought the game back to stores because they thought it was boring, I find it slow but relaxing. I prefer final fantasy but the Saga series is pretty good, I'd recomend it to patient RPG players that are more into the story than gameplay, oh yeah the music is pretty good - I'd give it 70%. (Will buy FFX-2 at some point, already have FFX, had it before I had a PS2 cos my Bro has a PS2 and beccy got me FFX to play while I was at home :) )
