Rough Novel One/Novel Two sketches from the past month.
Click on for full captions. I have a real life update coming rather soon, some of it concerning my first (finished) and second (unfinished) novels. If this automatically posts to Facebook and the pictures do not show up, follow the link to LiveJournal. All of these rough sketch pics have been on Facebook on my "wall photos" for up to a month.
In sequential order (and showing my progress winning the latest war against art block) they are: very sketchy dragoness/tornado pic, dragons/spaceship pic, "fighting" dragons pic (OK, they're just snarling at each other in this rough study!), basement scene, and crying dragon pic (no, he's not a sissy. He is flying on a bad wing/chest injury that's only making the wound worse.) Showing Kathy these pictures helped motivate my wife Kathy to read the first novel, something that makes me happy and newly motivated to DO something with the books!
Maybe these will become new illustrations? I'm not really sure yet, though I know I could make superior new versions of old Book One illustrations I've previously done.
