Eight days have already passed since the year 2011 started, but still, allow me to look back at the highlights of my 2010, just because I have a bit of “free time” now.
Why yes, free time = time to study for an exam. I am THAT responsible, I know. xD
Warning: This is gonna be EXTREMELY long.
I’m going to try remembering things by month, so I’m going to start with…
***
January:
Well, according to my planner, I had tons of exams that month. I honestly don’t remember any memorable thing that happened last January. Fail!
***
February:
Aside from the usual academic stuff, we had a Barangay Field Work in a certain barangay in Pasay City that month. It was for our Nutrition class, and all of us PH students had to talk to a family and acquire some information about the nutritional statuses of the children in the family. It was fun, because not only did I get to hang out with my PHriends outside the campus, but also we met some wonderful people who were very generous in giving us their time. And, most especially because I got to meet my very beautiful baby, Nicole! I’m a very happy Ate. :D
We also had the PHAcoustics that month. It’s an annual PH event wherein Public Health students get to showcase their talents in music. We formed a group, performed and got the 3rd place! Haha, fun.
Again, according to my planner, February 20 was the premiere day of “Ningen Shikkaku”, my ichiban Ikuta Toma’s first full-length movie. Yes, I’m pretty much still a fangirl, and you’ll pretty much see as we go along that my attachment to Asian boys just got stronger as the months passed by. xD

March:
I always remember this certain day in March (I’ve been religiously “commemorating” it since I-dunno-when), yet clearly it was just a normal day for other people. Meh, no one can relate to this, so why am I even sharing? LOL.
Then, we had a college event called “G”, it was during the latter parts of the month, I don’t remember when exactly. It was kind of memorable because it was my first time to go to a bar. Loved the photo booth sessions! Not much the drinks though :P Videoke at a nearby store with PHriends then overnight stay at Kenneth’s condo! We celebrated Dang’s birthday too. It was fun. :)
I also don’t remember when exactly it happened, but it was during this month that I impulsively ordered a certain Japanese magazine. What made me do it was a very low score in an exam. Yes, I’m THAT impulsive and THAT grade-conscious. So yeah. I ordered that magazine in an online store. ‘Nuff said. xD

April:
Oh, the boom month of my fangirling life. xD
April and May were pretty much the highlights of my 2010, if I may say so. Well okay, going back.
I attended a summer camp with Semper Fidelis. Although it was just an overnight stay, I pretty much felt alive and refreshed afterwards. I really enjoyed the said event, so there. :)
It was also during this month that I got hooked with U-KISS. My sweetest downfall this year. Oh, such adorkable boys, those 7 are. :D
And of course, my 1-month vacation abroad started this month. It was my first time to go to the US, so I was REALLY excited! I was with my dad, and we visited relatives and friends there (California and Hawaii). We went to a lot of places, met a lot of new faces, reconnected with old friends (omg homie, I’m missing you again :c), ate lots of good food and ogled at good-looking Asians who lived in the said areas! Well, of course, the last part only referred to me, not my dad =))

May:
The month-long vacation continued until the 3rd week of May. Afterwards, I think it was a week after, my family attended the Family Encounter Weekend. It was a beautiful weekend, filled with love and laughter for my family. Also, we met more families and became friends with them. It was really such a wonderful experience for me.
I got the Toma magazine that I ordered, all thanks to Lesh. Hahahahahaha. I honestly dunno why I clicked that “order” button. I’m kinda regretting it, but I’m thinking that I really shouldn’t because that’s still a Toma magazine. Ohmyfail xD
Oh, and during the last day of this month, I created my Twitter account. And thus, chaos ensued. ROFL.

June:
June 14 - first ever U-KISS concert, entitled “First Kiss”, at the Araneta Coliseum. I WASN’T THERE. Major regret, LOL xD But seriously, I really felt sad that night. We had an outing during the day, that’s why I wasn’t able to go. And besides, I still didn’t have money because school hasn’t started yet. Aww fail.
Anyway! June, it was a month that had a beauty of its own. Mainly because it’s my birth month (LOL). But, seriously, lots of things happened this month. I may not be able to clearly state those in words, but… Hmm, let’s just say that I did a lot of things that month. I laughed a lot of times, I cried buckets of tears, I smiled both fake and genuine smiles, a LOT, I tell you. But of course, it was special because it was the start of my (hopefully) LAST year in college! Ain’t that grand?
Ah, this month marked the start of my last year as a teenager. Am I scared of getting older? Honestly? A bit, yes.
And oh, I did my first blood extraction ever. It was scary at first, but we actually got used to it already. Oh, the things that we do for the love of academics xD
***
July:
July was filled with school works. That’s it. LOL, I kid. I think the most memorable part of July was when I watched “Inception” with lots of PHriends. We occupied, I think, 1.5 rows in the moviehouse? Yep, we were many, haha. And we watched it after taking an exam, so our minds were really, like REALLY, worked up. It was the first time for me to actually Google the plot and stuff of a certain movie. Yes, the movie was truly mind-boggling, it was nothing short of amazing. :D
***
August:
GD’s birthday! I personally declared a “GD night”, wherein I did not do anything academics-related AT ALL and just watched and listened to Big Bang and GD stuff all night long. Party! \:D/ LOL.
Mom and Ajijo went to Bangkok for 5 days. I seriously wanted to tag along, but I had school and my Mom said that I already went to US last summer with Dad, so it was now their time to bond. Pfft. Haha, I kid. So, it was me and Dad again. ‘Twas FUN! Hahaha, oh freedom. :)
Oh, another highlight was me pretty much getting HYPED UP over the “Intensity” concert of Rain ft. U-KISS and Christian Bautista. I never really expected that just after a few months, U-KISS would return again here in Manila for a concert! Well, it really wasn’t their concert, but at least they still appear in it.

September:
OHMYSHEESH, THE FULFILLMENT OF MY ALMOST-6-MONTH FANGIRL DREAM HAPPENED. I exaggerate a lot, you know. But, yeah, I saw them performing LIVE. Right before my eyes (well, I was still a bit far from the stage, but I don’t care). I, along with Sam, Angela, Shaima, Issi and Net, watched INTENSITY! I remember posting an ultra-long entry solely dedicated to that event, so I won’t exert much effort in telling the same story once again. But heck, it was an awesome night! My KEVIN WOO is truly an amazing prince~! <3
The groupings for SS aka Special Study aka thesis were announced. And now, I have my GWA team! I’m not telling what GWA stands for, but it’s really not a grade-conscious thing, y’know. xD
Then, we also went to Cebu and Bohol to celebrate Dad’s birthday. He was there for a seminar, and Mom, Ajijo and I just followed him there. Family bonding moments ftw! :D
***
October:
Ikuta Toma’s birthday! Ichiban love~ :D
I ordered a copy of “Break Time”, U-KISS’ 4th mini-album, mainly because it came with a 50-page photobook and I badly wanted to have a piece of Kevin here with me. And it came with a poster of the gorgeous boys! Gah, I spent too much on fangirl stuff this year.
Final examinations, SS presentations and other school works pretty much ruled this month.
***
November:
Kevin’s birthday! Oh-chan’s birthday! :D
We had the Life in the Spirit Seminar that month, and it was my first time to talk in front of the participants as a speaker, and not as the moderator for the 2nd day. It was a brand new experience, and I was seriously scared to speak in front! But, with God’s grace, I managed to finish it. All glory and honor to Him! :)
Plus, school. That’s it. xD

December:
Lots of things happened this month. Aside from the usual, hellish school work, our batch made the façade for the annual university-wide façade-making contest in time for the Christmas celebrations. Also, the third year batch made the lantern for the Lantern Parade. And yes, our efforts paid off because we won in the two contests (3rd and 2nd place, respectively)!
Also, this was the month of deadlines of submission of application forms and requirements for different Med schools. It was truly stressful! Especially the UST one. Wah, I was still wearing make-up from my graduation pictorial when I rushed to go to UST, just in time to pass my requirements. Truly, God makes a way when there seems to be no way! :D
My college friends and I ate our Christmas dinner at Yakimix. Food heaven! Then, we exchanged our gifts to each other. Guess what I got? *dead air* HAHA, okay I’m telling now: I got the “Only One” album of U-KISS, courtesy of Shaimy! And, with the poster! OMG that totally made my day, my Christmas, my year! :D
And, the forever SS-making process. Yes, even during the Christmas break. WAH. HAHAHA! xD
***
And now, we’re here. It’s already 2011. I know that God has a lot in store for me, my family and my friends, so I’m just going to continue putting my faith on Him and I’m going to do my best in everything! :)
Oh yeah, I should get going, because I have an exam to study for. -_-‘

A new chapter has begun. Let’s ganbarimasu~! ^^
