Tokyo way

I'm blogging away from my new Macbook Pro. Trying to get used to it as I have been Window person for the rest of my life so still very new to Mac! Suddenly, my rich text editor tab is gone so I gotta blog this from some programme thing. I hope this entry worked out fine :P

Anyway, shall we finish off the Tokyo trip? Nothing significant, just randomness.

Apart Odaiba, we didn't do much productive stuff in terms of sight-seeing in Tokyo. I think it's because we were lazy and our conscious minds which only focus on either eating, shopping or Arashi *lol* We went to Harajuku for crepe and paparazzi pix so after done with the mentioned business, we decided to go for Meiji Shrine.

(with the famous Torii, there are at least 3 of them anyway, before you actually inside the shrine area)

I find this place amazing coz it was right next to one of the busiest place in Tokyo, not to mention the train station. I mean you can actually hear the announcement they made at train station while walking from the front gate to the inside! Anyway, deeper it gets, the more peaceful it gets.

There were a lot of Chrysanthemum bouquets along the side-walk to Meiji shrine, in colour I don't see often.

After 10-15 minutes walk (depends on how you capable to walk on small rocks walking path), you finally get inside Meiji shrine. Crowded for Saturday as usual and a lot of weddings! Saw one couple of Japanese woman and Caucasian man having family wedding portrait. It was classic with Asian & Caucasian people in the same frame. Makes me feel like this world has no boundary :)

Done with Meiji Shrine, we moved on to Ebisu Garden Place. I know, I have done that last trip but I was gonna go eat Ippudo Ramen in Ebisu so decided to stop by for some Domyouji-Tsukushi moment.

I always like the architecture of Ebisu Garden Place. It fits in the neighbourhood perfectly (If I lived in Tokyo, I would want to live in Ebisu - my kind of place!). I see a lot of parents bringing their children out to play around. This place has a 'feel-good' feeling.

Definitely not forgetting to snap the pic with the classic meeting point ever. I think it's because of Hanadan, saw a lot of people taking pix with it. Can you imagine how one place of certain drama can make people wanting to visit it?

For the last day before we left Tokyo, me and junobssession decided to go to Tokyo Metropolitan building for observatory. Unfortunately, though the sun was shined, the sky wasn't clear enough so we didn't see Fuji-san from there *boooooooo* But the view is still good. Maybe next time I should do night-time visit so I can see light-up Tokyo like the one in Hakodate :)

We then went to have lunch at Takashimaya Shinjuku. One amazing thing about Takashimaya Shinjuku is that they have this outdoor terrace on 13th floor, if I wasn't wrong. So you can walk outside and check out the view. We manage to capture of nice building (I think it's Docomo or KDDI building, wasn't too sure). You can even see Kokuritsu from there! I wonder if I went to Takashimaya on concert day, will I hear or see anything? :P

As if that wasn't excited enough, when I went to the toilet I found this amazing view.

You could easily thought I'm in some hotel room for this view. If only you can see the sink in front me in this picture!

And Last, but not least....
I did make a small stop at Tokyo Dome for some observation *lol*

Got there like 10 am and the queue for concert goods was MASSIVE! The end of queue look like it was close to where they sell good but OH NO, you were wrong if you think you are getting close coz basically you have to go all the way through all those amusement park stuffs and to the front of hotel before finally to the front of the queue. We didn't queue for goods since we all got our stuffs from Sapporo so this is just for fun and to check it out.

Tokyo Dome looks nice but it didn't give out the same feeling Sapporo Dome give me. I like the spaciousness Sapporo Dome has. I like their stand which has no level. I think my love for Sapporo Dome is too strong to describe now *lol* Anyway, I'm not in best position to say which Dome is best since I have only been to Sapporo Dome :P

Last but not least, how can I finish my trip without a picture of me and my favourite boy (and his friends LOL)

'Til next Japan trip,
