This is one of the best bits of my trip to Japan (along with going to concert, of course)...it's "spotting Arashi billboard!" *lol*
To be honest, I sorta expected more than this when I went there since they are like presenting almost everything these days (i know exaggerating but, still, you know what i mean!). It wasn't bad anyway esp. ones you step in JR stations/metro stations as the boys will usually greet you :)
I have read in Sho's Otonoha before the one that Sho mentioned that there is Arashi billboard waiting to greet everyone after the custom. So I was looking forward to "that one". However, to my surprise after I got out of my plane at Haneda airport, I found this huge arse billboard!!!!!
OHMYFREAKINGGODDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so huge that we decided we should let everyone walk pass so me and friends can abuse the billboard as much as we wanted! *LOL* This is a great way to welcome you into a country innit? :P
So after we got through custom and walked outside the automatic door, we found....
CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO KAWAII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like this one better than the first one somehow. Maybe coz it's like the whole picture. I like the colour of their clothes too.
KAKKOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII♥♥♥
Me and friend were flailing like 20 minutes minimum with this billboard as we have been interrupted many times by airport staff who walked pass us *lol*
Anyway, before us abusing this billboard, there was this oji-san taking pix of Arashi billboard with his mobile phone, zooming in each of Arashi as well. And this is what I found with all billboards, that not only women stop for pix but also men. I guess it means that they are proceeding to so-called 'national group' status slowly.
Enough with Haneda Int'l airport, we then flew to Sapporo and later that night we walked to Susukino for dinner. I was trying to find Arashi's big AU billboard on Susukino. I know that was last year so I dunno if the billboard will still be there or not. Good thing is that it is still there!
It's like previous campaign of AU but still cannot complain. As long as there are the boys around, I am happy!
Anyway, on Monday when we were at Sapporo JR station about to board for Noboribetsu, we spotted these people mobbing around and I was like 'what's going on' and then we saw...
OHMYGAWDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hitachi billboard FORTHEEFFINGWIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(anyway I took this pic like next day's morning when all the fangirls have already left Sapporo - which is why no one was in the picture *lol*)
(chooooooooooooo handsome♥)
I know these are heavily photoshopped but still, WHY SO GORGEOUS, HONEY?!?!?!?!?!?!? The starry eyes are just gahdsgdgajhgsdha mesmerising. I gotta confess, I took pix with this billboard 3 times (Monday's morning, Monday's night and Tuesday's morning) when we walked pass it. It's like "Obsessed much?" *hahahahahahahahahahahha*
(by the way, sorry for no Oh-chan pic. didn't realise I missed taking pic of solo leader!)
I know that in Tokyo JR station there will be Hitachi billboard but since I found the one in Sapporo eki, I wasn't bothered anymore. So we walked around Tokyo without thinking much. Anyway, first day when we walked in underground walk from Shinjuku station to Isetan. I saw this like from afar.
It wasn't big like the one in Akihabara which someone found (well, I heard...not that I saw *lol*) Still, I couldn't complain.
I'm sure Hitachi sells VERY WELL these days. I know I want the air-con, the fridge, the washing machine and that guy with vacuuming machine if I was living in Japan *A-HA!*
On the day we went to Shibuya, we were walking along the platform for Hachikoguchi exit which we then found...
WiiParty billboard! (also heavily photoshopped) Funny thing is that people were staring at me and friends a lot for taking turn to take photos. Once we walked away, some girls were also mobbing the billboard as well. So I was like 'you gave me the look coz you also want to take pic, eh?' hahahah.
The last but I think is the best billboard of Arashi I saw in Japan is another one from Hitachi.
Love their looks in this billboard a lot (Hence, snapping many pix of and with this one). Sho-chan was with sweet smile. I melt *lol*
The funny thing about this pic is I took with Sho and used as my facebook profile. In small thumnail, it looks as if like I was leaning on his shoulder and friends were like 'DID YOU MEET HIM!??!?!!' or 'IS THAT YOUR BF?!' *LMAO* I didn't mean to cause that effects but it's ridiculously funny anyway :P
So what's your favourite one among these I found? Share share share!
