CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?

so i want to put up a new header which i did.
but as you can see its there twice and it REALLY
doesn't look right.
usually i'm good with HTML and that sorta stuff
but on here its different and confusing.
can someone please tell me what to do to make
my header just be centered and like span the width of my journal?
