Today was rather weird. I went to school, and was on time; strangeness right off the bat. Happiness consumed me, and I actually enjoyed my first four classes. My research paper in caldwell on Brian Friel, a notable irish playwright, was pushed back another week because of the snow. Yay. My psych teacher gave me a grade sheet for the term, and I was relieved to see that I had a C; that is, until I realized that was my year cumulative grade and that i failed last term. shit. Providence smiled upon me when I found out I had a sub in french; for the whole week! Yes! Strangest shit of the day is coming up next. Mrs. Mclaughlin was telling us about our grades for the midterms and had written this on the board so everyone knew the statistics:
A's: 2 ppl.
B's: 12
C's: 7
D's: 1
_
total:22
As she's talking, she says, "There were two A's in the class and, oddly enough, they're Chris and Pat." I'm just like, "Wait, Me?" and she says, "I'm just as surprised as you are!" Chuckling, I quip with, "that's some vote of confidence!" :-). That is it, more or less verbatim. No, I didn't study, and no, I didn't even get a B average this past term. I'm just one of those crazy smart, wicked lazy kids that might or might not throw his life down the drain if he doesn't get off his ass and remove his head from it. Oh, yay. So last period I spent sleeping, talking with this girl who recently converted to stonerism about how she didn't invite me to a party 2 fridays ago, and finding out i had to retake a test or I would get a 39 in physics. Wow, I didn't expect that, since I definitely was in class. Anyway, I hope that you all had a lovely day, although most of you probably thought it sucked. Hooray for Hollywood! KJ I'll get you Boondock Saints as soon as I've watched it a 4th (or maybe 5th) time. As soon as I've completely assimilated Sean Patrick Flannery's Irish brouge it's yours. He He I love Ireland, my ethnic homeland! Someday I'm going to write and live in dublin and get exempted from all sorts of taxes, and it'll be great.
Wouldja be my, Couldja be my, Wontcha be .. MY NEIGHBOR! G'bye kids!
