Sunday Evening Musings
Just finished dinner. Roast chicken, new potatoes and carrots, corn. The neighbor girl came and had dinner with us; she and Daniel spent a lot of Christmas vacation together. School starts tomorrow.
My Uncle Jesus died last night; his wife (my mom's sister) died a few months ago and everyone knew he wouldn't live long without her. We got an email on New Year's Day that stated he wasn't expected to live until Monday. My mom and I will be going to KCK this week as soon as we know when the funeral is scheduled.
I've got $16 left of my Christmas money. Had fun the other day going to the thrift store, bought eleven tops and paid only $11 for them. One is from Gap, one is from Blair. These are nice tops! Jeans are hard to find because I'm short! I found a really cute pair but they were about 6 inches too long!
Doing laundry, so that when we get the call about going to KCK, things will be caught up and hubby won't need to worry over anything.
*sigh*
It's hard, watching the older generation disappearing...
