What the fuck? An Update?!?!
So like, since 93.4% of my circle of friends aren't actually here anymore, I think I should update this.
First off. I moved house. I now live at Wooloongabba/Buranda and it's a very nice house. I live with my sisters BF and one of her friends. They are quality entertainment. Today, for example, Henry was watching the television program 'Hi-5'. Ya'll know its a kids show, but Henry turns to me and sez... "I can't believe people watch this show?? Who watches this show?? It's stupid."
What do you say to that? THIS MAN IS A DOCTOR!!!
I once told him, "Henry, you are the dumbest doctor I know". I just can't fathom how someone can be so smart yet so fkn dumb. It amazes me.
Anyway, the house is great. We had a housewarming on the weekend. I'm trying to hunt down photos from the event. Jess bought us a Gnome and it now guards the cubby house...

...We have a Cubby House, it's so friggin sweet. Annie said she wanted to move into it but I said no because I'm trying to rename it the 'Macking Shed' but I'm not having any luck with that.
What else... I'm back at Lotons, but it's not a bad thing. Honest. I have control of the shizz now. I'm working what I want to work and I even get the weekends off. It's pretty sweet. I think I got to a point last year where i felt completely trapped cause ya'll are off in different states/countries doing wondrous things and I was stuck in this nothing of a job which totally pwned me. So I went back to Sue, cause I know this job well and It pays good, and layed it down. And she agreed to everything I asked for so I went back. I should have asked for a car! So yeah... I'm not eating out of trash cans anymore.
I'm in 2 bands now too.
Band number 1 = Cam, Pat Elliot, Myself and Mel = The Mt Augustus Band.
Cam has written all these folky/'Murder Ballad' songs and they are fkn sweet. I'm playing bass and guitar. There this one song I play my guitar with a screw driver. We are at www.myspace.com/mtaugustus
Band number 2 = Timmmy, Scott, Ross, Pete and Myself = The John Steel Singers
John Steel (which I found out today) was the original drummer for the Animals. How cool is that? We play music thats somewhere between Wilco and Spoon. Mt Augustus played on saturday night to a bunch of underaged kids who were there to see their friends bands that were on after us. I really didn't like them. The gig was great though and I think people enjoyed it. I stayed with Cam through the GODAWFUL pre-pubescent noise/shit bands that were on after us to see The Rational Academy, which are now my favourite Brisbane band. They were fkn unreal.
Then on Sunday, The John Steel Singers played at Rics with Wing Defence, which is a bastardise version of Special Branch. DF (from Wing Defence) writes the coolest pop songs you'll ever hear. They're like Brisbane version of the Magic Numbers. Cam played drums for most of the set and Dale got up and sung a few songs. He also attempted to tune Jess' Bass while they were playing a song. Then we played and the place was pretty packed. It was weird. It was packed like some trendy band was playing at Rics. Mum and Ross came along. Mum kept asking me what to do. "Where should we stand?" "Am I allowed to buy a drink?" etc etc. LOL. Sarah took some photos, which I'll upload later cause the piker has gone out!
Both bands are playing at Rics again on the 6th (MtAugustus) and the 10th(JSS). The 10th is JSS on a friday night at Rics!! I had never played at Rics before sunday! w00t!
Um... This Saturday we're having a Depot Prom. HAHA! We're all dressing up in suits and dresses, going to Topper and PM's (or Nick and Ness') for drinks and then heading into the valley/The Depot for our 2nd formal!! I reckon I might actually enjoy this formal, but I haven't got myself a date yet. I reckon someones gonna ask me, how could it not happen?!? ;)
Thats all I can think of now... I'm sure there's other shiz going on but i can't think of it. I'll post more photos later tonight.
